Server and vent

I'll be gettin us a server for matches and a vent within the next day or two. I'm just gonna look around for the best deal!

So pretty much we'll be paying a monthly fee for them so i'd really appreciate of any members have the means to throw in a few quid a month towards the costs

K Update on this front. 20 quid a month from Xone-Gaming. That will be 1000 serverside fps 100tick 14 man server and a free vent. Then also i can get a 25% discount on that through the-tournament

Hey everyone and welcome to the clan all of you. Covenant and myself have been speaking about the clan and its future and have come to some conclusions about what we would like to happen. Firstly the ED and matches issue. Not many people have replied on this thread to say they are commited to play matches or if they are happy playing public. As a result its been very hard to know what people would like from the clan. What we want to happen is an ED team out very soon, I have to move house within a week or two, so within the next week I might not be around for a while, so sorting this is urgent.

We have decided to open recruiting again, but there is a difference. We are only recruiting people willing to play matches now, as it stands we have 4 or so memberss that want to play ED, not even close to enough, we need 5 for a match, and obviously others to play when people can't make it. So we will be recruiting.

Another problem is the clan is quite big. I think realistically 15 members and were still recruiting is to many. People that are in the match team may have a different tag to differentiate. It has NOTHING to do with how good the player is, its just to show that there is a difference between the match team and the people that want to play public. Because in all honesty, people see 15 of us on a server, it doesn't exactly say "Clan" it says community, so we need to address this.

Also, I think its time that some promotions are in order. We need someone that wants to help run ED and we definately need help on the site and the running of it. Post if interested, it will not be happening straight away though so its not first come first served.

Welcome Everyone

Hey guys and welcome to the clan. JUst to clarify a few things with you all, the intention is to make this into a decent clan, we shall have a website, server and forums in the next few weeks. Would be sooner but due to some work deadlines I don't have much time available at the minute to contribute, so poor Cov is having to do all the work. So just be patient, we will sort it out :)

As to the members thing, yes we have quite a few members at quite an early stage, if nothing else this is a testament to the good friends that we have made on counter strike and the people that we enjoy playing with, I hope most of you already know each other and I am sure you will all enjoy playing together. Recruitment is now closed. We have about 12 members currently and that is more than enough until the website et al is completed.

Come septemeber, we shall hopefully be entering ED (Enemy Down), so those of you who wish to play, are very welcome to. Just because we have quite a few members, this does not mean you will not get a match, from my experience, alot of you will prefer to just play public and even if 10 people commit to ED, there will be alot of times where real life commitments will stop you playing, so we have a good number of members for the time being.

Remember Moody Moo is out clan fluffer, so anything you need, she will sort you right out.....
