On a similar note; if you have been wondering why i have been playing half life 1 and 2 and civiilization exclusively i just got my laptop back from my repair shop that can't play games well. The desktop (l4d/tf2/cod etc.) is still sitting there.

are you plugging into the right port...? Most pc's have a port available for laptop plugins as well as monitor. I've had that same problem happen to me and it was actually the monitors issue, not the pc. How old is the monitor and pc...?

my computer seems to turn on fine but my monitor is getting no signal, any suggestions? I made sure all the plugs were in securely.

i'm having some computer problems, i'm trying to get it fixed now.

Oh dude it's sick as hell. Online it's meh, but playing through the single player was hella fun, and the occasional game with a buddy is still fun.

The group may be dead, but the idea of what pretty much pro is is still very very alive. suck it.
