Found out eu4 has its own website, it gives you news from the developers, and you may be able to play the beta if you sign up here:

Only HTTT and DW CD keys work right now. Word from Paradox is that they are working on the EU3 keys still

Any advice on registering multiplayer product codes that you get through Steam for eu3? Seems like the Paradox website doesn't always work?
