what about we make a guild in dota and then the people who are playing can just send a message and then bam.... im searching for ranked right now if anyone wants to join

Cant we make a chat channel in dota so whenever ur looking for a game just tell people in the channel and others can start their searches?

Every night at 8pm everybody in South Africa should search ranked. It's been pretty successful this last week.

I only want to play ranked :-) ... Everyone should try a ranked search for 5 min before swithcing to a normal search. There is almost 700 members on this group alone... then we will always find a ranked game and it will become the norm. (Any time of day.)

Ask the people in the group to all suggest a time that will suit them best and then the time that seems to suit most then you guys put that time up on the "about" message or make an event that will go of like 10 min before all should start searching?

i have a idea that could help with the who plays when kind of issue (like is there is a 5 stack and someone whos been waiting for very long for a game wants to join but cant) why not divide the group into 5 man teams (this way the type of playing style will also be easier to follow in your group)

The best idea to maximise Ranked in SA is to have at first set times where the majority of the community (or at least the skilled players who know whats what) to search solo/party Ranked. From there it will become a more popular thing encouraging players to search at more regular times. +1 for Ranked SA

thats how we start. its like waiting for a league game to start at 8pm... now we can all search at 8pm for ranked. or 8:30.. or whatever.. 8-9pm for a start.. lets do this!

So epic!! I actually spoke to my clan members about the same idea of starting ranked in SA. It will start slowly but we can get this thing rolling. Reddit, group, dogamingleague pages and "word of mouth" in dota client inself was my idea of spreading the news. Guys... make a time stamp NOW... on reddit. I've got like 80 friends on steam that plays dota and I'll let them all know. We need this! our SA community.. plz ...support this and take action!! Be patient in the first couple of weeks with search times and maybe some unfair matchups.

Ye I saw that no one plays ranked matches due to them having to play on other servers which makes them get high ping and lag which causes them to lose more matches. I will try and create a system were we play ranked matches but for it to actually work we will need more members

Good idea! I've been playing West Europe+ South Africa since South Africans seems unaware of ranked search.
