Hello. I love reading your reviews and trying out interesting new games. There's one game that I saw on steam recently, that looks like absolutely incredible mix of dungeon crawl and punch out, but I am afraid it might not be what I expect of it. I was surprised that you haven't had review of it. it's called "Fight Knight". Could you look at it please? thank you

@VonSlakken, Quake is incredible; we are in agreement there. :)

Nice recommendations. Never heard of Starsector- seems high quality.
FPS is my favorite genre, but I have still yet to plunge into Tarkov. One Day...

Quake is more my speed. :)

Another great non-Steam game is Escape from Tarkov. I've been playing it for months and it's a blast, if you like shooting people in the face and collecting shinies. You can order it direct from Battlestate Games, out of Mother Russia.

Since you all went the extra mile, here's a pro-tip if you want something well off the beaten path. This complete madman, named adamantyr, developed a game for the TI99/4a computer, from the eighties. It actually works on the original hardware, but you can also just play the PC version. I've been playing it all month and it's supposed to cap out at 200 hours. It's an RPG called Realms of Antiquity: the Shattered Crown. It's as basic as it gets, so it's not for everyone, but I love it.

@Felipe, thanks for helping turn this into the feel good thread of the year. It's so nice to hear that what I am doing has an impact on someone. Really.

Everyday I boot up my pc, launch Steam and then go straight to your curator page to see what you've been up to. I've discovered so many games through your reviews, and they allowed me to delve into some past classics / kindle a love for game design I didn't know I had. The reviews you put forward are so diverse that I can't help but broaden my own interests; in doing so, I've found myself ever more reflexive about the games I play. Thanks for your work!

@treyntowin, I really appreciate your comments. There is so little contact with my followers, it's hard to know what people think, so thank you for that.

I agree with VonSlakken. You have had a success rate of nearly 100% in putting games forward that will at the very least teach me something about design, or I will actually deeply enjoy. A few of your recommendations have even gotten me to break out of my usual comfort zones.

What a nice thing to say. That means a lot to me. Thank you, VonSlakken.

You are one of the only curators whose work I find actually very insightful and valuable.
I always appreciate what you have to say. Thanks for your work!
