Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps is Now Available on Steam Early Access!

Max Gaming Technologies is pleased to announce that its latest mech game “Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps” is now available for Early Access for the PC platform through the Steam network. We invite all mech fans to come and join us during early access development to wage futuristic war by piloting a fully customizable 50 foot tall mechs into online battle and in the process take part in shaping “Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps” by providing feedback directly to the development team.

Throughout each update during the Early Access cycle new content will be added and enhanced to allow you to fight for personal glory or battle for territorial domination in a persistent online warzone with your friends in various unique battlefields and combat environments.

Do your duty. Serve your people. Pull the trigger!

Wanted to send out a quick update on the progress of the Early Access build as of today. First, I want to apologize we have not had a build in the last 2 weeks, we have been working hard to get several Steam features implemented along with making some bug fixes and content fixes.

I don't want to give a date for what will probably be the last build before we set the game out into Early Access but it will be by the end of this weekend barring any major issues.

This build will contain the following additional features:

Steam specific:
- Cloud storage of mech configurations
- Steam Lobbies and dedicated server listing
- Steam Achievements display
- Steam Stats (though not user facing)

Other:
- 2 mission environments with Attrition and Free for all missions
- Various optimizations
- Weapons balancing based on previous feedback
- Fixed lobby interface
- Minor updates to AI so they traverse missions properly

Will post a list of bug fixes when we send build out.

Coming Soon Steam page, we will be submitting the page later tonight and it will hopefully go live by end of the week.

Have just uploaded a new build for people to use this weekend. Again its just one map. Here are things your should know:

1) in Mech hanger - the CM logos and nose decals are not currently working.
2) In Options menu - the Key Binds menu is not currently working.
3) In-game Lobby - will not show the correct setup for the map and other settings until steam lobby system is hooked up next week.
4) Lowered the Abolishers overall weight and armor so he is no so uber
5) Fixed the mount points in a couple areas.
a) Cannot mount weapons to the back. please verify
b) The 2 tops mounts only show with Abolisher, the under ****pit should show with other mechs. please verify.
6) Did a texture optimization pass, its why download is smaller.
7) Added Steam DRM, when you go to launch the game it says unknown publisher, we are working on that with Steam but click yes and it should run.
