i'm just going to wait until they bundle everything up for a steam sale at a fair price. college keeping me busy so if EA wanna be asshats to their customers along with Chris Fakeass Priestly then i'm in no rush at all to spend my money.
Partyprime 9 Apr, 2011 @ 5:07am
Game was good, While it wasn't like DAO. It was more of a hack n slash game without constant button/mouse mashing.
Arcade 9 Apr, 2011 @ 1:47am
ztracen is right this game sucks im waiting for skyrim
nateb88 25 Feb, 2011 @ 5:32pm
Can't wait for this to be playable.
Neileeen 24 Feb, 2011 @ 8:35am
I will not buy the DA2 because its not DA2. Its totally different game developed so quickly to get money to improve the profit. Dragon age was the game with "soul". This DA2 but is nothing only piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crap. I will buy WITHCHER2 cause its Witcher 2 and I know that even in future the adventure might continue....
DMessiah 8 Feb, 2011 @ 10:15am
I bought it like when it became avaible on steam :) huge fan of this game, well the first and the exp was great expecting lots from this aswell.
Shrike 22 Jan, 2011 @ 4:00pm
I am hesitant to buy DA2 as it is looking like no Toolset. Also the promised DLC's etc.
CJD 19 Jan, 2011 @ 1:26pm
Wanna know where I'll be getting DA2? look through my groups, you'll see a group that should tell you how I'll get and play it.
9|-|057|-|0U|\|D 19 Jan, 2011 @ 1:13pm
Thats Been tried with Valve with the release of LFD2 yet do u see Valve reeling back in whiplash from the 200,000 member boycott no infact those boycotters turned tail after 3 months of not playing to actually buying the game cause they couldnt wait any longer and just wanted to play with friends. Though DA2 is different Personally I am not buying DA2 cause im appalled that its not a continuation of the original storyline I was hoping they made a fantasy game that traversed the same Role Playing field as Mass Effect. Thats ok, Really I dont mind I play enough PC games then to bury wasted time in hoping a company would actually care about me as a consumer.
almighty.zer 17 Jan, 2011 @ 12:13am
if money is power then i vote with my wallet. seeing as you are looking back at history don't forget that people unionized to stand up against capitalist organizations. if these giants were all powerful we would not have achieved the 8 hour work day, fair working conditions, pay, prices, anti-monopoly etc. (at least in the US). Same applies to EA, they handicapped their deals to Steam users and upped standard prices to 60 for a game. Naturally, this creates this creates disapproval and those of us that do mobilize together, or just hold off on the deal (be it until a sale, the Ultimate Edition, or completely not buying) will ensure that EA feels the whiplash of their actions and piss poor customer attention.

to tell you the truth whoever stands against a Mogul is a follower of idiocracy, But those who can cut the achillies tendon of the Giant are true fighters of Capitalistic Justice. The Question is which are you? A fool who doesnt know he/she is one or are you someone who has faith in time. You forget we dont live in a day and age where Honor is power, We live in an age where money is power and Capitalism will never bow to Traditionalism.
Dr.Stan #2 13 Jan, 2011 @ 8:49pm
just got it on steam......
cancer 13 Jan, 2011 @ 10:14am
>.<...I want either version
Arc 13 Jan, 2011 @ 6:50am
@Ramo|CRO| Oh, sorry. Totally misunderstood. Yeah, it's ridiculous really considering downloading it saves SO much money in comparison to producing and delivering it on disk!
CJD 13 Jan, 2011 @ 5:56am
Well they've shown us they have no respect for the consumer at this point. I now intend to take my money off preorder and put that money on something else. I will not pay them and let them think this is ok. I hope everyone else does the same, we need to send them a message that this ♥♥♥♥ isn't OK.
almighty.zer 12 Jan, 2011 @ 11:14pm
no SE. ♥♥♥♥ you EA.
Jenny- 12 Jan, 2011 @ 7:49pm
wooot I just seeen it on steam
Balrog 12 Jan, 2011 @ 6:43pm
@Zaiella No, you didn't understand, Signature edition box was 25 GBP, and Signature edition download version is 35 GBP. How can that be? There are much more costs for box copy, than download (no extra costs like package, delivery...)
Arc 11 Jan, 2011 @ 7:18am
@Ramo|CRO| It's cheaper because Bioware are offering an offer on SE, making it the same price as the normal DA2 edition. My friend got me it on preorder and I'm not going to be happy if I can't register it with steam!
Balrog 10 Jan, 2011 @ 4:27pm
Bought it today on game.co.uk.But i'm very dissapointed and angry. We want our games on steam, you hear EA? BTW, i don't understand why box version on game.co.uk is 10 GBP cheaper than digital download?
JaelaeOLD 10 Jan, 2011 @ 8:08am
I bought DA ewhen it released then bought it AGAIN just to have it on Steam.
Twopir 9 Jan, 2011 @ 9:31pm
On 7 Jan 2011 it became availabe on Impulse... is Steam to follow? That is the question.
Twopir 9 Jan, 2011 @ 8:21am
I have no doubt that Dragon Age 2 will appear on Steam... eventually. What is up with EA and Steam? This implies that the relationship between Steam and EA is not on the best of terms. Why is EA pushing Steam players... this does not shake my confidence in Steam. I've been a Steam member shince it first started...and I am impressed with the service and suppor tthey provide. EA? If I were them, I would seriously look at why I am taking a chance of alienating a rather large group of players who I depend on to buy my games. This is not a sound business approach.
Akram 8 Jan, 2011 @ 5:44am
Need it.
For long time
9|-|057|-|0U|\|D 7 Jan, 2011 @ 10:22pm
yeah no kidding Steam can shut down a hacked account within a couple of hours of the ticket all you need is proof but then again ive been a member since 2006 and have yet to have an issue with steam .
almighty.zer 7 Jan, 2011 @ 3:53pm
@Night Lord that's why we have Steam's excellent customer service to deal with problems such as you described. If you got hacked elsewhere, have a fun trip through hell dealing with that.
Box 7 Jan, 2011 @ 9:39am
EA needs to find a new strategy to compete with steam. This withholding of games from steam is just going to lose them customers like me who only purchase games from steam.
The V 7 Jan, 2011 @ 8:40am
Hey why steam what if you got hacked and then steam locked your acc you wouldn't be able to play it. And also that their offering to upgrade you to the signature edition for free through stores and their site is amazing nice of them.
遠野彥 7 Jan, 2011 @ 1:26am
Support !
cmykabuser 6 Jan, 2011 @ 11:19pm
Too bad I already pre-ordered DA2 SE through ea store. But unfortunately, that was a worst experience ever.
Their websites are broken and too confusing.

I only hope that I can activate and download the game through Steam :(
But Whole 6 Jan, 2011 @ 10:53pm
i'm buying mine in stores, however i would love for it to ATLEAST be able to be bought on steam, however just not linked with steam.
Hans Blitz 3 Jan, 2011 @ 2:24pm
EA use to be such a great company back when 3DO and New World Computing were sub developers....
Ever since they canned both sub companys EA have just bought out smaller companys and rushed there product to the market for a quick buck then forget about them after the money has been made.

They have destoryed MMO's like Ulitma online and Dark Age Of Camelot.. and killed they greatest series they had MIght & Magic....

Shame on all that is EA and the only reason i still buy some of there games is the developers they buy out usualy have big plans for a game untill EA cut the funding..
Hans Blitz 3 Jan, 2011 @ 2:13pm
EA drops games like a bad habbit... They release games then fail to support them if they are not popular ..EA...WE KILL GAMES as i like to call them would have you buy everything from them if they could...

In reality Steam has the best service around and its why its so popular companies that are talking boycot steam will lose out in the end...
Its only blizzard that seems to be able to stand alone releasing their titles soley through battlenet and brick & mortar stores.
9|-|057|-|0U|\|D 3 Jan, 2011 @ 12:14pm
Wow I didnt realize that EA was gonna do that *Is now scared about Mass Effect 3* and such a great series too. so yeah /Support!!!
Satrack 3 Jan, 2011 @ 10:04am
/Support !
Balrog 3 Jan, 2011 @ 9:55am
I support the idea, but on bioware official forum member of their staff said that's not happening. So i guess this is lost cause, unfortunately. And i blame EA only.
Rong 3 Jan, 2011 @ 7:20am
Which is highly unlikely since it's an EA game.
Rong 3 Jan, 2011 @ 7:16am
I just want Dragon Age 2 to use Steamworks.
Peril 3 Jan, 2011 @ 6:22am
BRING IT!
