NOTES FOR HEADSTART/LAUNCH

Hello all

Most of you have pre-purchased Guild Wars 2, which will have granted you the 3 day headstart. If you pre-ordered, the 1 day headstart. And if neither, 28th August. You'll find the countdown on the right of this page.

To get ready and make sure everything goes smoothly on headstart/launch, I'd just like to remind everyone of a few things.

~ ArenaNet sent out an e-mail informing you that on the 3 day headstart launch, they may be opening the servers up to 3 hours earlier. So keep an eye out.

~ Whenever possible, please join the Teamspeak server, this will make it a lot easier to communicate within the guild. it's recommended, but not compulsory. Of course you can talk in the guild chat as well.

~ Once you make your character and start playing the game, please whisper/pm my ID which should be Yeou, for an invite to the guild.

Since we are an English speaking guild, and the majority of the guild is British, we're going to have to move to either Gandara or Desolation. Bare in mind Desolation destroyed Vabbi on the last BWE WvW.

The next Guild Wars 2 beta weekend event will start June 8th at noon PDT (which is 8pm for us in the UK) on Friday and close at 11:59 pm PDT on Sunday. (Which is 7:59am on a Monday for us).

If you participated in the first public Beta Event, then you will be able to continue any character/s you made. If you manage to make it to 35+ then in this Beta event you can try out the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon! :D

Our next Beta Weekend Event is this weekend (June 8-10), so we checked in with our IT Director Jared Chavez to see how things are going. As you can see, Jared is very confident we can handle the new players!
