I just got an item and the float database doesn't show me as the new owner?

The database updates from API calls to the CS2Float servers. As a result, you can install the CS2Float extension in your browser and view your inventory or you can paste the inspect link on the main cs2float.com page.

The float database shows an item is in an inventory but it isn't there?

Items are updated whenever an extension user or bot finds where the item now exists. As a result, that may take hours, days, or longer since it is possible that we never find the new location (such as in a private inventory without one of their friends having the extension).

Hovering over an inspect link in the DB tells you when it was last *changed*/updated.
