ETF2L are holding a community highlander competition.

Phoenix are going to resurrect the old community and enter a team.

There will be custom in-game medals for the winners, runners up and participants.

Phoenix are looking for active TF2 players to take part in a couple of matches in the weeks ahead. Steam message Jason to show your interest.

BTW - if you have played comp TF2 in anything higher than division 6 you are not permitted to take part. Sorry.

Wireplay Season 2 Over

Season two ended in defeat, and this cost us the Division. Still, WRYY lost on the final day of the season which gave us second place, and we’re happy with that.

We started the season with 5 straight wins, and very convincing wins at that. We then drew our penultimate match and lost the last game. Did we take our foot off the pedal or eye off the ball. Who knows? Who can tell?
We’ll hopefully get a promotion next season and we’ll also enter the 7v7.
Let’s just hope that the Sandman has been wiped from the face of the Earth before then.

Phoenix Chocolate Server

One server just isn’t big enough to hold the amount of gaming juice deposited by the Phoenicians, so now we have another one. Classy has very kindly donated his converted Left 4 Dead server to the cause, and we think he’s very nice for doing so.

The new server will be used for custom maps and will feature all kinds of modded goodness. Expect the main Phoenix server to remain Vanilla and continue to be the main server for events and squad matches.

As my esteemed colleague and honourable rival mentions below, Phoenix is hosting an England vs. The Rest Of The World match next week. I'm the captain of the England team, so any English people, or any people with a tenuous connection to England, that feel like representing their country - send me a message on Steam or on the forums if you'd like to play.

I'm putting together the roster for Team Rest of the World to compete against Team England of the Phoenix Community. Depending on the amount of players we'll be getting, it's going to be either a 6v6, 8v8 or 10v10. Let me know if you're interested and I'll look into it!

Requirements:

Basic knownledge of the standard Valve Team Fortress 2 maps.
