bhimxander1983 1 May, 2011 @ 11:34am
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turks....
bhimxander1983 30 Apr, 2011 @ 11:41am
looks like we are comfortably in 1st...awesome!
bhimxander1983 28 Apr, 2011 @ 10:22am
anyreason we got relegated back to T4? I think they really need to fix this Clan ladder system...wow...i mean wow
Sanguine Paradox 26 Apr, 2011 @ 1:04pm
I won't be around for awhile guys, assessments.. sorry. Goodluck and I'll cya all ingame against soon hopefully!
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 25 Apr, 2011 @ 7:53am
Wow, we got promoted, that is unexpected... Well done, everyone!
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 22 Apr, 2011 @ 8:34am
Yeah I have seen more of them, one of them renamed his bow warrior monk vets to naginata warrior monks. Quite silly actually...
bhimxander1983 22 Apr, 2011 @ 7:09am
decided to be a thorn for the light blues...sneaked away 2 provinces. and poured points into them...pretty sure they are pissed...
bhimxander1983 21 Apr, 2011 @ 9:50am
btw have you guys noticed some players are renaming their units to other unit class types. For example, I fought a boon who renamed his yari cavs to Bow Cavalry, and his Naganitas to Yari Ashigaru. I pummeled him in under 2 mins and scolded him for his shamefrul dispray.
bhimxander1983 21 Apr, 2011 @ 9:47am
yea...i think we should grab as much lower cost provicnes as possible...maybe we can squeeze in quickly.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 21 Apr, 2011 @ 6:58am
they are a proper pain in the ass, yes. I was thinking to maybe change our 'home region' to the west, but it might be too late for that
bhimxander1983 21 Apr, 2011 @ 6:36am
what is the plan to deal with the light blue clan? They seem, a thorn and a half to deal with.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 21 Apr, 2011 @ 4:27am
You're welcome! :)
bhimxander1983 20 Apr, 2011 @ 9:39pm
holy cheeseburgers with a side of french fries....inania..so far this has worked. Ive dropped 2 bows for kats, and 3 nags for my cav....i cause horrendous damage....thanks a lot inania and everyone else! Lets see where this goes
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 20 Apr, 2011 @ 4:18am
Let me know if it doesn't work, I'll try to come up with another tactic
bhimxander1983 19 Apr, 2011 @ 11:42am
So new formation (If i got the koku) :
N K K K K YS/K
N B B B BM N

bhimxander1983 19 Apr, 2011 @ 11:32am
@Inania : I will try and see what that does. I will take out 2 spears and replace them with sword., and put 2 spears back to flank off the archers.
VaeVictis45 19 Apr, 2011 @ 9:33am
Maybe use some bow cav to try and draw his cav out? If you could get rid of his cav, you'd have an advantage. The main problem with that is you wouldn't know before battle whether you'd need the bow cav or not.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 19 Apr, 2011 @ 8:13am
bit less naginata and more katana perhaps?
bhimxander1983 19 Apr, 2011 @ 7:12am
I just do not seem to have enough men. Here is my basic battle formation (if i f there is a 15K koku limit)

N N K N K K N/YS
B B B BM

YA
G
YA

all my units are upgraded vets that are very expensive. Since we cannot determine what the next guy has how could I improve on this?
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 19 Apr, 2011 @ 6:49am
Like you said, use archers for the matchlocks, yari cav to counter his cav. Then take katana samurai to kill his naginata's. The -5 meelee defence for spear units would be really useful in this case.
bhimxander1983 19 Apr, 2011 @ 6:43am
I dunno about you guys..but this game is putting me off. Everyone now seems to gunning up on hills and sealing themselves off. with naganitas. I have tried every possible tactic to counter these gun armies but not very successful. Try to engage with missiles but this opens me up for cavalry strikes. Any tips on such dealings?
Sanguine Paradox 19 Apr, 2011 @ 5:15am
some upgrades for your high end vets require tokens AND clan speciality if I remember correctly. Which means we'd be locked out of having the absolute best swordsmen but have the oppurtunity to field superior archers.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 19 Apr, 2011 @ 3:50am
You buy it with clan tokens idd. And I would be the co-clanleader or whatever the proper word is. But like I said, we can also try and get more members ourself. That would mean you just invite everyone who you think would be a good addition to the clan.
bhimxander1983 18 Apr, 2011 @ 7:44pm
i think we have more zergs still
Sanguine Paradox 18 Apr, 2011 @ 2:25pm
thats unfortunate for me since I dont believe in ranged weaponry. But oh well. I am doing just fine with clan specialist upgrades for my veterans. I'll make do without still.
As for the merger.. is it a merge or absorbtion.. i.e are you losing station as clan leader and we all take orders from another?
bhimxander1983 18 Apr, 2011 @ 12:32pm
what do you mean by "buy" range upgrade. you mean with clan tokens?
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 18 Apr, 2011 @ 11:22am
Bows would be the specialization, which could be useful since you can buy a range upgrade for your archers
bhimxander1983 18 Apr, 2011 @ 10:43am
hmm...Iwhat will be the specialization? I do not care much, as my army is a balanced force.....
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 18 Apr, 2011 @ 9:56am
Oh, and it would mean I new specialization, yes, unfortunately.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 18 Apr, 2011 @ 9:55am
I will do that, I´m busy right now in the north east, same place as last time because I think most members start in that area.
bhimxander1983 18 Apr, 2011 @ 8:26am
Well I got 2 things to say about clan mergers:
1. We should merge with clans that are active and play fairly regularly.
2. Will we have a new logo, new clan name , specialization etc?

In terms of the clan competion, I think we should have 5-7 provinces as our base and expand out afterwards. We should also employ a system of attack-build policy. Some clan members attack provinces, others build on top of the newly captured ones. I think the Koreans were efficent at this process. If you noticed, each of their captured provinces had huge scores. Maybe Inania can assign attacking/building turns during the week.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 18 Apr, 2011 @ 6:16am
Oh and 2 more things: no Sanguine, onfortunately I can't see which members fight and the outcome. The other thing is that I got an invite to merge clans, I'll post an anouncement about it. I haven't said whether or not we would accept, since I first wanted to ask you guys what you think of it.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 18 Apr, 2011 @ 6:14am
Well we didn't get demoted, but it is a bit sad we didn't get the promotion :(. We won't have the problem that we can't play the last few hours of the competition next time though, it's easter weekend. But this mean we should be extra motivated to get that promotion next time!
bhimxander1983 18 Apr, 2011 @ 5:14am
wait wait...how the heck can we b relegated..I thought only the worst performing clans get relegated. We are up there.
All that work we put in and all gone...pfft. What a bunch of noobs we are plauying against. But, we will get em next time. Anyway as my drunk friend use to say "Failure is the cornerstone of success"
Sanguine Paradox 18 Apr, 2011 @ 4:59am
Relegated. Too many noobs and children who can't accept they've lost and stall all morning. Sorry guys, maybe next time
Sanguine Paradox 18 Apr, 2011 @ 3:03am
Inania can you track where your clan members fight and the outcomes?
Sanguine Paradox 17 Apr, 2011 @ 3:16pm
Not much they can do.. unless they provide seperate leagues based on clan size.
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 17 Apr, 2011 @ 11:05am
They really should do something about it, this is just ridiculous, we might still take 2nd place though
Sanguine Paradox 17 Apr, 2011 @ 10:34am
Hence.. Zerg swarm and the smaller clans are totalled.
Sanguine Paradox 17 Apr, 2011 @ 10:33am
securing their place and the fact that so many players want to be glorified and get promoted within their own ranks or on the ranking ladder itself, they all expand looking for battles in unowned territory or weakened provinces they own. That is there chance to get some recognition and eventually the sheer number trying to do so becomes overwhelming.
bhimxander1983 17 Apr, 2011 @ 10:20am
I don't get their philosphy though..they have OVER 30+ provinces...they were pretty much set to go on...I do not understand the need to wipe out the other clans. I still think we can make 2nd place in this tier..
Sanguine Paradox 17 Apr, 2011 @ 5:32am
Against zergs like that, I think we need more members before we can compete, we'll have to keep going down the tiers until everything stablisies. Zergs up top and normal clans below
bhimxander1983 16 Apr, 2011 @ 8:13am
they stole some of our provinces....it's like fighting a zerg army
Sanguine Paradox 16 Apr, 2011 @ 1:59am
taking note of the time I post this, the koreans are not online and its a good time to shore up our influence on any provinces that they might take, with that secure, by the time they wake up and come back online, we're on the offensive and they have to split their attention between attack and defence
bhimxander1983 16 Apr, 2011 @ 1:05am
koreans trying to overtake.....lets stop their advance...
bhimxander1983 14 Apr, 2011 @ 5:00pm
I think we should target Sagami, Itzu,Suruga....not much points there..also the Koreans hold a province Noto where they only have 85 points.
Sanguine Paradox 14 Apr, 2011 @ 1:39pm
I'll see about shoring up any places where a rival is getting close to our influence level when im online if you all have got conquering new areas under wraps
-{CLXE}- InaniaEtVana 13 Apr, 2011 @ 4:33am
11 now, and counting
