We are go for mining! Bugs fixed, server running, and better than ever! We have hostile Cargo Ships, complex controls hotkeys, semi-solid pistons, and... auto-sync'd mods (none currently installed, but maybe soon)!

The recent update on Thursday the 31st included a couple bugs that made playing on the server a bad idea. Autosaves are not occuring, but that can worked around. The main issue is that when you die, you are kicked out of the faction and all your stuff becomes hostile, resulting in chaos. So until these are fixed, the server will remain down.

Our engineers have been busy expanding and upgrading the refining facilities on CJ's Rock. This unfortunately means that the Rock cannot currently accept mining shipments. However, it is believed that our current stores are sufficient to complete the upgrade.

The refit has completed its final planning stages and is ready for constuction. All engineers are encouraged to take part in the construction. The sooner the refit is complete, the sooner we start making a profit again!

All welding ships are free for use. If any of our engineers are afraid of breaking things, they are actively encouraged to use Lil' Sparky and The Sparkinator. These ships are scheduled to be decomissioned in the near future anyway so you needed worry about breaking them.

Late this afternoon a distress beacon was spotted during a survey of a nearby asteroid. We cannot be sure how long the beacon has been there, but recommend someone in the region check it out asap!

The Astronomers Association has informed all the Asteroid Mining Ops in our region to expect in increase in high velocity objects passing through the area. The showers are expected to last for some time. Be prepared! The first strikes are expected to start on July 12th.
