man, I wish there was more activity here. I loved HIVE growing up, and it's sad to see there is no activity online with it.

Simply Chess is nice game for free.

There's a bug in Lost Cities. The scores between the human and the AI in the first round are flipped. So, whatever you get in the first round is credited to your opponent, and your opponent's score is credited to you.

Hello, nice try to build this game, i think you can show the remaining seconds, not only minutes, of the player's turn. Also you can add some championships rules at the timer of each player turn such as, each player can have 5 minutes remaining time for all of their moves.

One problem with Simply Chess is that turns seem to have a lot of delay.

@SirGaming.G2A: which game? If you want to play a live game at almost any time of day, try Simply Chess (which is actually Free also) it has a pretty vibrant community and there is almost always someone hopping in or out of the global lobby. Good luck!

@Ruskiy: first thing to check, is if it was an Async game, make sure you re-join the game to see the ending.

If that did not fix it, then it's possible that one of you is Provisionally rated and the other is not provisionally rated.

I don't remember who mentioned that the flicker in AppSettingsDialog (when mousing over "back" button) bugged them a bunch... but now that's fixed in our code base!! It'll go out with the next release of each game & make at least one person's life happier ;)

@OzKing: once the clock gets down below 1 minute, it switches to seconds. Maybe we should show the seconds all the time, though.

It's a little tricky to keep the seconds completely in-sync between two players (especially for users with flaky connections), but that's something we're working on.

SimplyChess: Ok so what's up with the clocks in live mode? Can we get seconds and more of a live view? After all, I think perhaps you should focus showing more of the clocks as it's a big focus next to playing the game. Thanks!

Quick note that we just pushed a small update for Tatsu. When re-loading a game, the replay is 10 times as fast now. :)

@SteemGuy119: The specs you listed should handle the game just fine unless something else is stealing all of your computer's power. There are a couple things that should help fix it for you though:
1) Open the "Settings" menu, and turn OFF the "Normal Mapping" and turn OFF the "Antialiasing".
2) If that's still not working, make sure to change the game to render in 2D mode instead of 3D mode. You can do that either from the Settings menu or by hitting the number "2" during gameplay.

Let us know if that works for you!

Please help. I just downloaded Simply Chess, excited to get back into chess, but it is utterly impossible to play. It runs with an atrocious FPS (I have to repeatedly click for an action to take into effect and I have to constantly wait for the cursor to rspond to my mouse). There seems to be no other person with this problem online or in the forums. PLEASE HELP!

We just launched Othello! This has been our hardest game to get the license to, ever. It took over 2 years!! Everything is all tied up and the finished product looks great.

Hive, Khet, Othello, Chess, and Tatsu (yet to play this one) a high quality resume of games by the studio. You know what would make it even better though. Shogi, I was going to say Go, but that might be asking too much. =P

Seriously though, love the games and can't wait to see what the future brings even if it's not Shogi. ;)

Pro-tip for BlueLine fans... if you've been on the edge about deciding whether to get Reversi or not, you really should pick it up now. We are now positive that we won't be doing any sales of a similar size on that title at least for a year (probably ever).

@Dr. Smith, it's now the top bug on our list. We're having a really busy time at the moment, but hopefully that fix will be in the next release (we have some other fixes piled up that we want to release too).

@sean.colombo: There is a bug in Simply Chess. After player creates a game in multiplayer and invites somebody, they click ready and start the game.
But game makes 2 tables for game (1 player in first table and 2 player in the second).

@squirrel: we'll keep that in mind. In the meantime, you might have an easier time if you change the camera angle. You can do that using the arrow-keys on the keyboard, the right-thumbstick on a gamepad, or dragging while holding the middle-mouse button. Hope that makes it a bit easier! :)

Khet 2.0 is great thanks! Small update to make the piece you are currently hovering over highlight would be amazing. My friend and I decided that at least 10% of the difficulty was the 3D UI. Online appears dead if anybody wants to play lemme kno.

Reversi is re-released on Win, Mac and Linux now.

Found & fixed a rare but fairly serious bug yesterday. We're trying to release all 12 builds today (4 games, 3 operating-systems each).

Just pushed Simply Chess and will continue testing & releasing throughout the day. These releases will pick up a ton of other fixes that we've done in the past several weeks.
