If someone declares a thread or chat or some-such to be a safe space for an identity you don't share, just leave them be and don't interfere. Let people have nice things.

If someone tries to explain to you why what you said was biphobic, transphobic, etc. Try to listen. Don't tone police. They're explaining because they think you're worth the effort to teach. Try not to disappoint!
