Unfortunately we lost both games. We weren't stomped which is nice.

Unfortunately due to minor incompotence Bird Attack Force was knocked out of the League of Dota tournament on monday. Losing to the team Super Laget who they were previously beaten by in 7 minutes in scrims. This game lasted mildly longer at 12 mins.

Just got this message from the FES people.

Dear Robin,

We are writing to confirm your team, 'Bird Attack Force Alpha', is registered to take part in the FES League: Championship Kick –Off Season. In addition to your team, 15 others, who will be visible at fluffyspoonesports.com/league/ on Friday 4th April, will be competing in the league, playing a match against every other team once, resulting in the team standings.

The matches themselves will be a best of two format with the teams swapping sides (Dire and Radiant) each game, a 2-0 score will equate to a win, 1-1 a draw, and 0-2 as a loss. Team’s positions in the league will be measured by the points they have accumulated from the matches played.

A match timetable will be live on the website by Mon 7th April viewable for everyone, as well as an email being sent to each team outlining their specific matches. If you have a problem with any match times outlined please tell a member of the team and we will reschedule it for you. Do not wait until the last minute to tell us if you are unable to play a match, apart from in exceptional circumstances if a reason is not given for not attending four hours prior to sign time it will be recorded as a loss for your team.

We are currently reviewing all rules regarding the league and will notify teams when finalized, however there are a few points you should take note of:-

A member of each team is required to sign in for their scheduled match ten minutes prior to the match start time. This is achieved by joining our IRC #FESLeague channel on the quakenet server, and sending a message confirming your team is ready to play, at which point an admin will give you the password for the lobby to join.
It was outlined in registration that the team captain must purchase a DotaTV ticket of the tournament in order to participate; this has been altered to us only needing one member, regardless of their position, to purchase a ticket.
Matches are scheduled to begin on 23/04/14, and every Sunday and Wednesday Evening Following.

Lastly we ask you just to reply to this email confirming your place in the league, as I know some of you have incorrectly entered your emails and we need to make sure we have contact with you.
