Binary Role Play

As the Binary server evolves over time things change. Whether it be persistence or general rules. It is highly recommended to reference the rules page often and keep up with discussions in the Steam group. Admins actively pin topics in the discussion page that are found to be of special importance for all to read.


As with any role-playing (rp) community there are many different styles of players from the high role-players and those just starting out. Our server right now is a mid level role-play server meaning that we promote character development but do not punish those who break character occasionally. Habitual breaking of character is severely frowned upon and reflects poor role-playing.


Many different players come from many different walks of life and as a community we find that tolerance and respect are a code of conduct we strongly uphold. We do not tolerate racial slurs or out of character hate speech. If you are having any issues with a player outside of character or are uncomfortable with the way a player is acting please contact Binary clan thought the email service.


Binary server is a whitelist only server to help keep out hackers, modders, and those who cannot follow rules. Those who are found to break the rules intentionally are subject to temporary bans and up to permanent bans. Unintentional and intentional rule breaking is dealt with by the admins on a case by case manner. It is best to ask if something is against the rules though the clans email service at binaryclan@gmail.com or through a discussion post on the steam group page. A good rule of thumb is if you feel there is a loophole to a rule avoid it until you can get an approval though the Binary email service or steam page. If you have any concerns about a rule or have a suggestion there is a sub forum designed exclusively for suggestions under the discussion page in steam.
