Supposedly you can edit the cargo, colonists and spacecraft files and just give yourself the units but I haven't tried it myself

eh i think we can just forbid it and be well off~ that said i haven't seen our host weigh in, and his opinion is the most important one here.

Of course, you have to give up stuff like artists and tectonic scanner for them.

It adds a bunch of stuff for the setup phase. +100% production of explorers and colonists, start with a free virtue, have every artifact on the map revealed. There's even a new unit (which is terrible) that deals 10 damage to aliens every turn within a few hexes of itself without aggroing them.

So I've been meaning to ask... any restrictions on the stuff starships unlocks in BE?
