o yeah, i forgot about that stuff
LightWeaponsGuy 18 Feb, 2013 @ 8:43pm
I know this kinda an old group, but I thought I'd share anyways. We were to recieve our UGC HL Season 8 medals, but we haven't so I did submit a ticket and its been over a week now with no response, I'll post what ever I get back as a response. Cheers, mates.
WhoCaresBear 14 Dec, 2012 @ 1:31pm
are we joing next season?
aubt 13 Nov, 2012 @ 8:19pm
♥♥♥♥, reading through these comments made me all depressed.
We were all so happy to get going and so motivated, maybe that's part of the reason that we did so well in the start. As we progressed, our mood appeared to have worsened, and then the spark of playing for a team just sorta dissapeared...
LightWeaponsGuy 5 Nov, 2012 @ 7:30pm
I'm guessing thats that of our Season 8 UGC then? If so I myself think we all thought we'd make it to the very top and burn the other teams, but we didn't. What it did do was reveal our mistakes and the kinks that needed to be worked out. Hopefully this will be a learning lesson to us all including myself. See you soon and hopefully we can take another stab at it next time.
aubt 15 Oct, 2012 @ 8:08pm
Screw badwater. I'm going to try and raise my lobby count.
LightWeaponsGuy 15 Oct, 2012 @ 8:00pm
I guess that concludes our UGC season and time to head back to pl_badwater. I think we're were all a bit on edge, sometimes we just have to learn from our mistakes. Sorry to those who died out there that I could have helped. Better luck next time and best wishes. -LWG

Best playout of swiftwater. Kruger, BamBy and Toaster, you're going to have a lot of fun.
P.S We need to plan ahead and not wing it!

Bimby 4 Oct, 2012 @ 7:11am
We're in an 8-way tie for first in Iron. lol
LightWeaponsGuy 2 Oct, 2012 @ 1:42pm
Turbine isn't an easy map with a small team, one Engie has to guard 3 different ways of guarding the intel. The vents and upper areas are home to Spies and Snipers while the middle map is home to just about everyone. Having the right loadout and pushing at the right time is the key.
LightWeaponsGuy 1 Oct, 2012 @ 8:08pm
I personally enjoy ctf, I don't like turbine though...
Bimby 1 Oct, 2012 @ 7:44pm
So, is anyone good at ctf?
Bimby 27 Sep, 2012 @ 8:27pm
hahaha

WhoCaresBear 25 Sep, 2012 @ 9:26pm
my bad guys pass smooth out thank you brother maventa
LightWeaponsGuy 25 Sep, 2012 @ 8:31pm
The Kritz Demo was the biggest reason we had the trouble. I'll try to plan around that more. Big shout out to Maventa for being a great team engie!
Bimby 25 Sep, 2012 @ 8:29pm
Good game to all participating BEARs tonight. Let's keep it up and pull another win next week.
LightWeaponsGuy 25 Sep, 2012 @ 4:54pm
So we're all set for tonight then? I'm guess theres 2 rounds of cp_foundry?
LightWeaponsGuy 17 Sep, 2012 @ 9:48pm
So far so good. We cleared them right off the board. Hopefully we can go into this strong and win.
LightWeaponsGuy 7 Sep, 2012 @ 9:16pm
Do we have a match this sunday? For me its 9/9/12. If so I will not be able to make it.
Sendraak 26 Aug, 2012 @ 5:48pm
fellow BEARS: I apologize I missed the scrim today. I just moved in to school this weekend and did not receive a notification that there was a scrim on Steam for some reason, or somehow it was down when my computer was off when I moved.

I'm glad to hear it went well though, and I will be communicating with Toaster and checking page more frequently so that this doesn't happen again.

Bimby 26 Aug, 2012 @ 5:10pm
lol. good game indeed
LightWeaponsGuy 26 Aug, 2012 @ 5:05pm
Awesome game guys, besides the other team copying us -_-
Sendraak 19 Aug, 2012 @ 6:10pm
lol. PST here
LightWeaponsGuy 19 Aug, 2012 @ 12:32pm
Yeah, my schedule isn't final too and I need to talk to to my parents. Besides, I'm probally the youngest here, *cough* 15 *cough* As for my time zone, I believe its Central. Unless anyone knows what it is for Minnesota.
Sendraak 19 Aug, 2012 @ 12:30pm
i say we figure it out closer to when the season starts personally

if anybody else is like me, i dont really know how my schedule is until school has started. need tp adjust and all that ♥♥♥♥. time zones also impact when we play too. i'm west coast so afternoon for me is night for someone else
Bimby 18 Aug, 2012 @ 7:51pm
either one is good for me. just have to see what everyone else thinks
LightWeaponsGuy 18 Aug, 2012 @ 7:36pm
Agreed. Sunday afternoon or Sunday night?
Bimby 18 Aug, 2012 @ 3:34pm
i believe sundays would be best as it seems many of us are heading off to school
Sendraak 18 Aug, 2012 @ 12:12pm
from what i've heard you can play matches on sunday afternoon/evening easily enough. if that's what we'd be doing then i can play for sure. hour or 2 out of my sunday shouldnt be hard to manage for me.

and yes i have school too, i'm going into my senior year of college and unfortunately i can't let anything get in my way. still plan to play for the team but if something comes up i'd have to bail. as of now i don't see anything but big projects near end of the semester getting in the way, weekends are usually easy for me and i think i can manage :D
Bimby 17 Aug, 2012 @ 7:24pm
we don't have a FULL backup team (as far as i know), but yes we have backups, med included
LightWeaponsGuy 17 Aug, 2012 @ 7:20pm
Yeah, If I can't make it, we have the "backup" team right? Otherwise I'll just buy some sour candy or something to keep me afloat.
Bimby 17 Aug, 2012 @ 7:18pm
depends on if it's best of 5, first to 5, stopwatch, how good (or bad) each team is. from my experience in lobbies it's anywhere from 30 mins to an hour.
LightWeaponsGuy 17 Aug, 2012 @ 6:52pm
9:30 PM? I think that will work for me, I usually get on at 9:45-10:00 anyways. How long does a normal UGC match last anyways?
Bimby 17 Aug, 2012 @ 6:44pm
for the full set of rules see this link
http://www.ugcleague.com/rules_tf2h_season2.cfm
Bimby 17 Aug, 2012 @ 6:42pm
typical match times for season 7 were Mondays at 9:30pm EASTERN time. I imagine it would be around the same time for season 8.
LightWeaponsGuy 17 Aug, 2012 @ 10:11am
Are we talking about when to do matches and all that for UGC? I know a couple of BEARs like me have school and all that, seeing as how we all seem to be on at night.
Sendraak 16 Aug, 2012 @ 11:45pm
o i didnt see this ♥♥♥♥. didnt post it to me for some reason >.<

i dont see a problem with me being able to play. let me know when matches are typically played and all that jazz and i'll let oyu know for sure according to my schedule for this semester
LightWeaponsGuy 14 Aug, 2012 @ 9:32am
Are the BEARs going to do anything special with the new Mann Vs. Machine Update? Cause to be honest, it doesn't look all that great, just a quick PvP match is all.
Toaster 9 Aug, 2012 @ 7:42am
Everybody, it's well past time to sign up for fall ugc. I'll be signing us up in the very near future, so let me know if you cannot play in the season starting in early September
Bimby 5 Aug, 2012 @ 3:39am
new hl team signups for UGC Season 8 started August 1st. the season starts September 10.
Toaster 21 Jul, 2012 @ 10:31am
Yes, I believe we do have a full team. I'm putting together a list at the moment, I will make it the group description soon
Bimby 21 Jul, 2012 @ 1:52am
so do we have a full team yet?
LightWeaponsGuy 13 Jul, 2012 @ 11:11am
Lets not forget the Warrior's Claws or the "BEAR" sized meal of the Steak sandvich.
KARPOV_RLTW 12 Jul, 2012 @ 9:16am
do any tf2 hats look like a bear or remind you of a bear? maybe the ushankas?
