I think there is a slight resemblance to Twin Peaks or signs of inspiration - location kind, "evil" stalking the main character, who is an ex-detective and will investigate, to a certain degree questionable residents... but it seems to lack the surreal aspects from what I saw yet.

While I'm Yapping about Captain Beefheart there is a an 12 minute long dvd documentary about Beefheart that most people probably doesn't know about called "Some Yo Yo Stuff" by Anton Corbiijn. David Lynch is also in it. Very odd little art documentary about the American musician. heres a link for the full 12 minutes :)

Internet archive is by the way a pretty great site, havent used it in recent years but remember finding some weird stuff in there over the years, probably Tom waits or captain beefheart related concerts or something :)

Guilherme sorry missed your reply earlier but I wouldn't bet my money on it, The day his death had been anounced i read up a bit on Lynch'es works and found out that he had made an i'll fated sitcom from 1992 that had only been screened in tv and has never been released on any original media except for on laser disc in Japan called Open Air. Heres the link for the intro and beneath it theres a link for the downloadable 7 episodes that isnt avaiable anywhere to buy nowadays but with japanese subtitles in em but maybe some of you guys wanna give em a try but i havent tested em out yet myself though so it will be on your own risk if you do so.

@Satans Little Helper there was some project he was working on, based on what you can see on IMDB (Unrecorded Night) and inerview(my search history isn't there to share directly) mentioning that filming process should be adapted to Lynch being away from the filming ground due to his health. Maybe we'll see it, but I dunno what will it be without David directing it till the end.

I just found out from a friend. So sad! On top of the illness, the evacuation from the LA fires did him in. This sucks!

Before hearing about his death I hadnt even heard he was sick but my mother has been suffering from the same ilness for years so I know from close range how horrible it is.
Really sad day,

He had been diagnosed with emphysema after decades of smoking.

I read an interview with him last week... he mentioned that walking around the house was like running with a bag tied over his head... Sad... he said he didn't regret smoking, because it was part of who he was. Rest in peace, legend.

@Snake - Looks killer, thanks! I agree many of the "associated games" are not actually associated with Twin Peaks. But my intention here was to list all games that seem to take inspiration from Twin Peaks or take inspiration from the same sources as TP. Otherwise, the game list would be extremely short.

I think that just the mentioning of something like our favourite red room is not enough for the game to be associated with TP, but this game - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1699480/KLETKA/ - has a (rare?) floor level which is the red room.
I didn't manage to capture a screenshot of it, though (my friend left it too soon :c). You might like the game's post-soviet surreal horror design approach.
