Know what I just learned? Sitting on your couch with your 360 gamepad in hand, hold down the Guide button for four seconds to launch Steam in Big Picture mode. It even works when Steam isn't in focus!

Everyone remember to support steam... If you do then maybe the game developers will take notice and remember to implement xbox controller support

Just want to throw out there that I will soon have a dedicated server available for AVS members. So far I may run any of these games: BFBC2+Vietnam, Killing Floor and any included in the Valve Complete (as of July 2011) Source games including Garry's Mod. I also have a Minecraft server available. I will update with further information when it is available. Feel free to send me a msg if there is any questions.

Thanks guys. I was thinking more along the lines of a headset. I went with this logitech unit. So far so good!

My group of friends tend to use Skype so we don't lose coms during loads and whatnot.

I just use the voice comm built into steam works great

Hey Guys, I've been away from the forums for a while. Stopped by and saw this group had been started. I've been playing a lot of Counterstrike Source, Team Fortress 2, and Borderlands (lvl 21) lately. If you guys are on and interested in joining in/ inviting me to any of those games feel free.

My buddies and I are probably going to setup a CS:S server here soon too. If you see an invite come your way don't hesitate to join up. We're looking to have fun and have friendly admins.

Borderlands is such a great game. If anyone here hasn't tried it and has even the slightest interest in Borderlands, I implore you to play it. Like Infrasonic, I'd love to help anyone just starting out.

With an upcoming DLC for Borderlands coming out soon...It's time to bring back your characters. Soliders, Hunters, Sirens and Berserkers alike. A whole new area and a new patch bringing the level cap to 69. I offer assistance to any who want "another soldier on the field" as Roland would say. Hit me up for backup anytime.
