Hello again one and all. It's been so long since I've seen anyone playing AvP that for a time I thought it died out again. Hopefully everyone's Fall schedules are smoothed out and we can get some matches going. As for myself, I've had Internet connection problems all summer and I haven't been able to play online. When I do play it's on campus, usually before 6 pm Central Time.

Predator Fun Fact: In the first Predator movie. The Predator does not notice Arnold Schwartzenegger due to that he was covered in mud. This would not have worked in real life. In the show "Mythbusters" on The Discovery Channel, it has been proven that Arnold would have still been detected by infrared vision since the mud would have quickly warmed up to the same temerature as his body. In other words, Arnold should have died, but remeber, it is just a movie.

Alien fun fact: Did you know that the original concept of the Xenomorph life cycle did not include a queen? Instead of using a queen or producing offspring through normal methods, Ridley Scott came up with the idea that other organic living beings would be broken down and turned into the facehuggers inside the eggs. In other words the alien would kill or capture the humans and would stick them in an egg and they form into a facehugger. There is even a deleted scene that show Dallas and Brett going through the process. If just this one scene would have been included in the final cut, it would have eliminated the chance of there ever being a queen in Aliens, and the sequel could have been drastically different, if it would have been made at all.

Fellow [GMS] members. Aliens: Colonial Marines is drawing nigh and I will be transfered to LV-426 to investigate the mysterious happenings in the U.S.S Sulaco, which has reappeared orbiting LV-426. For those of you looking to join me, I will be playing on Xbox 360 under the same name thmswilliams0. I do not have up to date specs so I will not be able to play with those of you getting the game for PC.

I would like to say thank you to all of those who came and played AvP with me on my birthday. Even though the turnout wasn't huge, it was still a ton of fun. We just had a great SDM against some veteran players! Great job thmswilliams0, jefequeso, Wikkid, and our 2 new clan members. You guys were awesome. So glad we got to play a quick round with so much clan participation. Oh, and I posted some screenshots of the match too.
