The future of AtOmIc Mapping

This will not be the last announcement, that I can assure you. Yes AtOmIc has left his own steam group behind him because of personal reasons that I cannot say unless I get given permission otherwise.

Since his departure I have given some thought into what will be happening next within the group, the things that will not be changed are:
-The steam group name, this is actually quite important to me because AtOmIc came up with the name, it was his group and it would feel quite wrong of me to actually go ahead and change the group name so this will be staying.
-Announcements, the announcements will still come whenever I feel like there will be one. I'll explain what will be happening to them in particular momentarily.
-The description will also stay the same, I'll update it whenever myself or AtOmIc release a map (I'll explain that later).

Nothing will really change other that I'll be running the page, expect the same stuff to appear.

Although AtOmIc has left that doesn't mean he wants to stop mapping, he just wants to move onto other projects, so you'll never know! Whenever he releases a map, screenshots or whatever I'll post an announcement on here, so stay tuned for that!

As for myself I am indeed still working on a zombie escape map, I plan for it to be released by the end of the week (hopefully), you can check the percentage of it by going to my steam homepage.

Although we have lost an extremely important person (the founder), we can still make this work. Let's make this the best rest of the year AtOmIc Mapping has had yet, that will start by the release of my upcoming map!

Last thoughts

It's been awhile, first of all I need to address the concerns about Saw Nightmare; yes it has been cancelled due to personal issues. I would like to thank the entire community for all of their support throughout this project and for beeing extremely patient with me. Most of all though I would like to thank Someone, in the end its down to the hard work of people like himself that Saw Nightmare even existed at all. I know this is extremely disappointing to supporters of the project, having ended so abruptly and I deeply apoligise for that, aswell as for the lack of communication. Saw Nightmare has been a great learning experience for me and I will be taking all lessons learnt on board.

Lastly the future of this group, I am simply unable to continue this anymore; therefore I will be passing full administration over to DeepInferno, or he may wish to create his own group, which I fully support. I would like to once again thank all the current and previous members of this group who have supported me throughout a number of projects over the years.

Thank you and goodbye.

We need you!

http://www.impactdesignsuk.net/dc/
We've recently released a new browser game that we've been working on for quite sometime. The game is called "Divide and Conquer". So what is Divide and Conquer? Well Divide and Conquer is a browser based game in which you command an Army and try and kill the opposing Army. We've got a vast medal system, and plenty to do with battles being continuenly being fought Divide and Conquer has plenty of replay value! So when do you come into this? Well we need you guys to get more players in, more players mean more battles, more battles means more fun and someone's always got something to do within the game. If we reach a specific number of people, I'll unveil my new zombie escape map (maybe with screenshots) Sound good? Go and play now! It's completely free to play!

A BIG update!

Hello everyone, this is just a quick update for you lot to see whats going to be happening over the next few months. First off I'll talk about the different projects myself and AtOmIc are doing.

For myself I've got Doom to work on which has been put on hold while I work on the new project I'm working on. I'm going to be changing a few things with things like hold points and stuff to make it more exciting, I have indeed been working on it and almost have the spawn completly done to show everyone, but I won't be showing any screenshots yet until I feel the time to.

For AtOmIc he's indeed still working on Saw Nightmare, but he's also gone ahead and started another project (I'm not allowed to say what it is until he makes an announcement about it) but he seems to be very motivated about and can't wait to show some screenshots!

Next is the future of AtOmIc Mapping as a whole. It's been great doing all of these announcements and people reading them and sometimes posting comments in the announcements etc. But AtOmIc is going to change a few things to do with the Steam Page as a whole, he hasn't given me any details besides that so I cannot say anymore. He's also going to change a few things with the website, again I don't have any details of what he plans to do with it but I'll let him post an announcement on it. AtOmIc isn't going anywhere before people start to say...

This is a big thing for us, and we hope you lot will be happy with the changes we will make. The secret project I'm working on will be my first zombie escape map being released, Saw Nightmare being AtOmIc's first mod made by himself and a few others (I don't know who he's working with) and his Secret Project seems to be going smoothly.

My map I hope to release as a beta within the next 1-2 months depending on how well the mapping side of things goes. I'll give a proper release date as soon as I feel
comfortable with how much I've done to actually give a release date.

I'm back!

Hey all first of all I would like to wish everyone a happy new year! (I know it's late! :P)
I took a little break from the Hammer editor for a while (since the loss of my computer ze_doom should be gone, but I sent the map off to AtOmIc to allow him to change a few things around). I recently decided to open the Hammer editor today and mess around with it, and allowed myself to get back into the swing of things. I thought I would post this announcement on behalf of myself and AtOmIc to say that we're not gone, we just took a break from mapping for a while and now working often to get our maps out to you guys/girls.

On one last note the secret project has indeed began, I will discuss the project a little later down the line when I have screenshots ready and actually have something to talk about. Let's just say it will be a little different than your standard zombie escape map. At the moment I am very much looking forward to presenting to what I have been working on for a while ;)

Happy new year!

On behalf of myself and AtOmIc.

Jigsaw needs some more time to fix up your tests!

Hey guys!
As many of you would have known by now the Demo should of been out a couple of days ago, throughout last week I have had a tone of personal issues popping up and unfortuantly I have no choice but to delay the Demo.

On the brighter side of things, I might have it out before Christmas!

Update!

Hey everyone, I know you lot haven't heard from me in a while (about 1-2 months now!) I haven't had the chance to work on doom because of my computer breaking. I also feel really bad because mappers are releasing map after map and I haven't even finished doom. Anyway I'm back and I'll start working on the final level of doom VERY soon! I will post and update of what the last level of doom will include. The update will also include other things I have been getting up to; however this update will be when I am less sleep deprived :P

One last thing when doom reaches open beta stage I will unveil my new zombie escape map that I have been planning for sometime. The new zombie escape map will not take as long as doom! That I can assure you.
