Tonight is the start to the mini-deployment "Operation Desert Thrust". Be sure to head to the website and mark your type of attendance be it attending, maybe, or not attending. Also the OPORD is out so go ahead and familiarize yourself with it so that you can have questions ready for your briefing. First off, great operation last night. Everyone did their jobs to perfection and the outcome really showed that. No casualties, all VIPs captured, and no real issues on the extract. If you have not yet completed all three phases of the Basic Recon Course or are needing School of Infantry those events take place at 1900 EST for SOI and 2000 EST for BRC. Completion of both courses will move you into the combat roster.
