Nope, it's not. But another server has beaten Paper (Sonaki KR) and now only one more server can make it to the map's leaderboard. New player wins will still count, though...

As most of you should know, the ZE_PAPER_ESCAPER contest will end tomorrow. This means that tomorrow Sunday 22nd of April if you haven't submitted a demo and a screenshoot that proves you/a server -I'd rather go with whole server wins, don't be selfish-, you will not be abled to appear on the map.

Also, if you haven't had enough time to beat it, it's time to PLAY LIKE THE BANANA-PINEAPPLE EATING GOD OF FIRE THAT SITS ON A BURNING CRYSTAL SCORPION AND SINGS HIS BLUES EVERY TUESDAY EVENING!!!

Contest time extension.

As some servers haven't had time to beat it yet, and I have been asked several times to extend the contest time, I have decided that the deadline (and this one won't change) will now be set on the 22nd of April; one week from now.

Among the reasons that have triggered this decision is the fact that I was at least expecting 5 server wins. I'm still expecting them, as there have been servers which have won 3 or more times. Also, I'm still waiting for some Massacre videos -which are not necessary but I'd like to see them- and, hopefully a solo win on Massacre. I'm also waiting for more players to do/discover tricks so that I can give them some kind of special award.

The final map version is on the works. It will contain another new -short- level between Extreme and Massacre. The level will feature another completely different way and -I hope- a trully interesting ending. I have also added the winners room -empty atm- and done some changes I felt necessary. I have not, however, made the bossfights harder, since a lot of people already complained on Massacre -and even on Extreme-. Finally, I am going to filter the weapons as in Mako. I've been saying that I didn't like this system for a long time, but seeing that a vast amount of the fails were caused by this have finally pulled me to it.

I hope you play and enjoy the map, and hopefully beat The End and put here the youtube videos and the winner list screenshot -or an actual list, which would be even better-.

After following the advice of some players, I've decided that the contest for ZE_PAPER_ESCAPER will take ONLY two weeks from now, which means that you will have to submit your vids/demos/screenshots before the 15th of April. I have decided to do this so to increase the interest on the event and to get a bigger number of entries.

Also remember that the valid contest versions are 6_6c and 6_6c2. Any other version will be disqualified so please tell server admins to upload the lastest one (6_6c2)

This is the final contest version. It is the version you have to beat with the given rules and conditions; it is balanced enough and HARD enough -which was what I was looking for-.

BUGGED VERSION v6_4d - Please wait for v6_5

As you might have noticed if you have played, ze_paper_escaper_v6_4d is bugged. These bugs are from barely unnotaciable to completely game-breaking (In fact, you can't beat the Extreme and Massacre levels; game that, huh?). Because of all this I recommend you -and your servers- to wait for the next, new, fixed version.

As it was posted earlier, I was uploading the newest version, which is the one you must beat to participate in the contest. I seriously hope there are no major bugs, because it'd be a pain in the ass to, well, fix something after three weeks of relatively hard work.
