probably because hardly anyone plays space marine anymore. When Eternal Crusade releases there will be more activity.

In case anyone missed it from E3 this year, Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade has been announced. After the failed attempt or Dark Millenium, Eternal Crusade is its replacement MMO for the 40k universe. Not sure of the difference, maybe its the same game just renamed and adjusted... anyways we still have a chance at an MMO!

I've been thinking of using my mic in WBH games, too, so I can shout and swear and clog up the airways. I mean, to give inspiring messages and rally our brothers' faith.

Just to mention, coryphaus will need a mic in order to properly command the squad during battle without the distraction of typing

The Icon Bearer title was given to Balrog awhile ago but Dark Apostle, First Acolyte and Coryphaus are all open.

Once we get the titles solidified, I vote we do another Tactical Assessment Training so that we can start organizing some squads and see who's on to play with.

It would be kinda cool.

How does the recruitment go for you guys. I have been looking around for a good group of active PC Warhammer players. I have all the Dawn of war games and Space marine. Couldn't figure out how to send messages so if you guys are looking for more mature gamers just send me a friend invite Ruin.

Once you get to lvl 41, all the experience from the challenge rewards goes to waste...need to increase the max lvl and give more stuff!

It would be neat if not only they gave you your standard weapons in Exterminatus but also gave you special gear like in TLS. Gear such as lightning claws and maybe a librarian class. Hopefully we'll see it in the future

my favorite looking armor is battle-damaged cuz it just oozes i can take way more ♥♥♥♥ then you could ever dish out. Problem is I cant freakin get it cuz i rarely ever die. >_<

I'm waiting to see what "Exterminatus" mode will entail. I kind of got bored with Last Stand in Dawn of War 2, but I do love my Heavy Bolter, which is perfect for a defense/survival type mode.

Space Marine isn't looking to be such a good game guys... do any of you still play it?

So that no ones confused we will start in the groups chat room. Personally ill open the chat and then open the game so that i can do both so if you want to do the same then do so.

Perhaps we should all join the Steam chat at the scheduled time, so we can add one another to our friends list and to pick a group leader, and then invite everybody into one big group or two in the game.

It's great we're having another skirmish - but how are we meeting up?

Yeah, the lascannon should be the equivalent of AWM in CS, instant kill on a stubbed toe

The plasma cannon is very cumbersome, and a heavier weapon than the Heavy Bolter, and yet it doesn't require a braced position to use. The Lascannon is too light and fires too quickly for it to be much like the tabletop weapon. It's an anti-armor weapon, not anti-infantry. (Unless maybe you're fighting Terminators.)

The heavy bolter is my favorite weapon, too, but the other heavy weapons are pretty counter-intuitive.

I have discovered my favourite class is havoc with heavy bolter :P
