Wicked$ick, you've actually said the only thing that makes any sense about making TF3 and that is an upgrade to the graphics system. In my opinion, the graphics are fine for what they are, and it was really intelligent of Valve to make the characters all have low poly counts, but if they ever DO want to upgrade the graphics, a new game is the only way to do it. So kudos to being the only other person making any sense here.

well it wont happen. i mean when was the last time valve made a "third" of anything. weve waited for hl3, tf3, meet the pyro (third class), ect... so it would be awesome and ide get it , but proble not sadly. gabe wants hat money 0_o

A GAME DOSNT GET BETTER WITH UPDATES I THINK
Its the using of the new tech, I dont want a crappy looking game anymore its time to advance, even a new engine. Give us somthing new..Look at css it looks like crap now compared to new fps shooters, Look at bf2 they didnt need to make bf3, but it was time to advance and make use of our new hardware powers. TF2 just keeps shoving the same quality crap down our gullets and we say thank you sir can i have some more

I want to see all hats gone in tf3 that would be good, keep the new weapons, and add a single player game, there are so many awesome ideas for sp tf3 use them, AND BETTER GRAPHICS THE GRAPHICS BLOW

CharizardTyphlosion340, hats with bonus stats are a HORRIBLE idea. I really cannot say this loud enough. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. It would render all the other hats for that class completely useless and create an unofficial 4th "weapon" slot.

and the pyro should have a rage meter so when the rage meter is full that he gets a shield but can attack with melee weps only

the spy should have a dagger thatjust cloaks the enemy doesnt kil him but the enemy cant attack until he returns to the base or picks up medkit

The heavy should be able to hold a hammer, since he's big and bulky... SOME hats should have stats like football helmet= More hp.

You all realize that TF3 is completely unnecessary right now, right? What guns, maps, hats, effects, game modes, etc. would they add that couldn't just be added in an update? A flame proof suit for the Spy could be added in an update (although it never will because that would eliminate the main weakness Spies have. Duh) as well as hats that damage people (also a bad idea, as that would essentially create a 4th unofficial weapon slot and nobody would use the hats that didn't cause damage). Basically if TF3 came out it would be Valve telling people to pay for an update to TF2.

I think the balance of types of characters is good each one has there own advantages and disadvantages , like the engineers weakness to the spy and his to the pyro make it a well balanced game. I would extend the current classes and maybe add a few more in and more maps while keeping the old ones.

in tf3 they should make a flame proof suit for le spy

it would be cool in TF3 if they made a sentry hat for the engie incase if any spys.

What would be insane is if hats could damage people or set them on fire... or maybe even a new crafting type, so you can make a custom weapon with 2 refined and one class token

Maybe I am wrong but isnt the only point of ppl hoping VALVe will release TF3 in they realizing they lost many advantages by joining and playing TF2 so late? e.g. the Primeval Warrior, Grizzled Veteran and Soldier of Fortune badges? or the Cheaters Lament hat?

seriously, TF3 won't come out for a very long tiime, besides they're bringing out alot more updates which are too small for a whole new game, live with TF2. VALVe are workin on Ep.3 & apparently concepts for L4D3, TF3 is a stupid idea, so in the words of the heavy, "keep crying babies!!"

a tf3 would be nice, but im happy with tf2, its still got lots of life left in it, and 3 updtes still need to be released.
