Hey guys, just a quick announcement.

The server has been fully automated with an event loop, meaning once the last admin logs off you must make sure you enable the Event Loop before logging off.

For admins, the command is /eventloop

For players, the current track rotation is as follows:

Tarmac 1
Speedway Figure 8
Tarmac 2
Tarmac 3

Please feel free to send me suggestions for the event loop and I will add them. Happy racing!

Return of the server

Hey everyone, it's been too long since I've made a post here. With the last few patches, I have started playing Wreckfest again and have enjoyed it enough to put the dedicated server back up.

The new server tools allows for events to be looped, map changes in games, permanent bans, and other features we've been waiting for. That being said, I currently have my old team of admins sorted with their permissions in game and on the steam group. Along with the old admins coming back, I will seek new moderators and admins as activity grows and new players show their faces.

Stay tuned for more info as we get this group back on its feet and racing again. See you guys on the blacktop!

Hey guys, couple of people told me while I was out the server needed updating. Done and done, back to business as usual.

I will be posting a list of admins and details for the server later on to keep the community in touch with whos running this group etc.

Dedicated Servers, New Community Staff Needed

With the new announcement on the Bugbear forums (http://community.bugbeargames.com/index.php/topic,7472.0.html), dedicated servers will be coming to Wreckfest with the next update.

Of course, most of you having owned Wreckfest for sometime will laugh at the words "next update." However, it does bring a very real concern of mine to light now that Wreckfest is starting to take shape, which is you guys; the community.

I like running this group, I've met a lot of great people here and I wish to keep this going for as long as you guys are interested in racing with the style we present. I do not, however, have all the time in the world to dedicate to this game with side projects and other communities that I run. So here's the deal, I want to extend the opportunity to you guys to help run and moderate this community to you, the racers. Any finances that are required to run the community will always be out of my own pocket so long as interest is there you guys won't ever have to worry about the teamspeak or any server going down.

If you are interested in stepping up and earning a place for the admin staff, either on teamspeak or in game, come find me. Let me know what sets you appart from the others, what you can bring to the table, and how you'd like to contribute either assets or your time.

Thanks for reading guys! I will be hosting this weekend a lot, April 11th-12th while waiting for GTA 5 to release.

Hey guys,

Eightz kindly created a logo for us, it's currently the steam group and website banner logo. Pretty cool stuff.

As for website, the hard code itself is finished, just need to polish some icons and start filling that bitch with content. That being said, I will be resuming weekly/monthly activities here, starting with another raceway giveaway on January 31st.
