New news on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

So since no one has commented here in a long time and no one has mentioned this I thought I would share it. Paradox has White Wolf, the rights to the mmo and all the assets with it. http://www.pcgamer.com/paradox-buys-white-wolf-world-of-darkness-vampire-the-masquerade-from-ccp/ So it may not be dead but it will be a long while before we see something come of it.

After CCP's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I honestly hope they decide to be smart for once and sell the assets and IP to someone competent who can actually finish a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game without their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ circlejerk MMO universe needing a polish every 50 seconds.

Project Vaulderie is the porting of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines to the Unity engine. This will make the game much easier to mod, offer various multiplayer modes, such as single player co-op, pvp and story teller controls that are in the spirit of Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption. This port be absolutely free of charge, but will require the original Bloodlines, as it's not meant to pirate the game.

I now have a smoldering hatred for CCP where there was once respect and hope. They need to sell the White Wolf franchise to someone who will follow through with something like this! A company that is passionate about it! FFMFF! .. F!

man this game will be incredible, was dying when i heard they were making an mmo out of it and knowing ccp social aspect of eve im even more stoked :D

I have been waiting for this game for years now. I still have all my old tabletop books set in the world of darkness. I like CCP as a company, and they have done amazing things with EVE.
Here's hoping we have an amazing game set in one of the most fantastic universes soon!

Question/speculation: If CCP has an official WODMMO Steam Group, would this imply that the WODMMO will be released on Steam as well, like EVE Online? Seems reasonable.

Well, I have discovered through my recent charge into the world of darkness community that there is a lot going on. It is not my intention at all to annoy anyone and I am progressin in the spirit of fun and interest. I bought that guide finally and am working on a profile for http://www.mudstats.com/World/TheReach . I have played masquarade back when it came out and bloodlines and a classic mud. I might be fun to talk to. Ill just do my thing privately until I hear from anyone..

The clans are all active and have absolute use of discliplines. of course ,, its text based and a few nerds have it completely monopolized. Frickin annoying crappers..
