I'm big fan of Valkyria Chronicles from Russia.
I even bought PSP, just only in order to play in VC2. Also i have all three VC-artbooks from Udon(and not even feared of delivery cost from the ocean)
My favorite VC is №1. The rest parts is ok too(battles became better, despite the fact that the maps are much smaller), but mm..left feelings of mainstream anime..or idk how to explain. I think plot, synopsis and style was better in VC1...and in overall more "serious".
Since, Sega ported some of their old game recently, I hope to see Valkyria Chronicles on Steam someday;) Also hope it's stimulate a good reboot to franchise and maybe we will see VC2&3 on big platforms
