Just wanted to let you know that I'm partly back at modding Stellaris.

Played some vanilla games in 2020 and decided now to update at least some of my Mods to 2.8.1.

I working also on a rework of my "V-Mods Species"-Mod, but since Stellaris has changed so much, this will need a lot lot of effort - not sure how much time I have to mod, but at least the conceptual work is done for a big part!

You find all Stellaris mods on my Website www.vmods.org - on the left of the website you find the recent news where you see which Mods are already updated to 2.8.1.

I proudly present Eternal War, Version 0.61.00, for 'Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game'.

Some of the highlights are:

• Better balanced WW2

I wish everyone a beautiful Advent, and proudly want to present a new project: Switzerland 1937

Switzerland 1937 is a scenario DLC for the great turn based strategy game Wars across the World and the first commercial project of V-Mods.
The scenario is part of the 'Eternal War' universe most of my mods builds on and it's about a civil war in Switzerland in early 1937, where right-wing catholics uprises against the liberal-democratic government. You can play both sides and decide the fate of Switzerland.

While most of the scneario is made by myself from scratch, Strategiae and Avalon Digital supported me decisive with the art and localization.

The scenario can be bought on the WAW shop[waw-games.com] for 2.99 Euros. Supported languages are english, french, spanish, german and russian. The earnings are (beside various fees) solely used to cover costs for the V-Mods websites or ressources I've bought or will buy for other projects.
Please note that you still need the main game, 'Wars across the World' which you can get for around 10 Euros.

A steam release is planned in january/february 2019. I work already on version 1.10.00, which should be ready on steam release.
The new version will come with more specialized units (different defense/attack values supported with the new WAW engine) and some additional units like militarized police or rebel milita in divisional strenght. On the top of that, I plan to add few more cards any many new unit pictures (like more historical accurate uniforms for the Swiss Army and more varying militas).
I hope you like the Scenario so far and wish much fun by playing it!

Sadly, I’ve decided that the recent update for my Stellaris projects will be (for now) the last one.
I myself don’t play Stellaris anymore (various reasons), and the coming patch 2.2 will change so many stuff, that some of my mods would need a total refit.

Due other priorities, less time and RL, I can’t do such a rework in the quality I want to provide and you deserve.

There are future Stellaris projects, including a complete retrofit of all my mods, but I can’t tell you when I will start again with modding Stellaris. Maybe with 2.2.1 – maybe with 4.0.

I really don’t know it.


Thanks to all the Stellaris players which were interested in my mods, I hope you will enjoy Stellaris further and always try new mods, there are many epic projects of really talented modders which need your support!
It was a great time, knowing folks like you had fun with my work. But now, even if it’s hard: Farewell!

I proudly present Eternal War, Version 0.60.00.

The main contents are the new overworked map with a full topographic view and lot of AI adjustments.

• The 2nd RCW should now work much better - ending with a patt in 1941, not with an white/red victory in 1939-1940.
  
• Most of all AI improving events (aka free units) are gone. Now, it seems that the AI can handle a more or less historic WW2 without these.

I've made lot of small changes, unfortunately I forgot to note many of them. Beside the listed fixes, there may are some small aditional ones I forgot about
