It's been a slow burner as we collect the remaining active collectors but we're finally here, over 2,100 members with over 1,000 games in their inventory!

Some of you have genuinely amazed me with your collections! A handful with over 10,000 games! More than others have been able to collect with their decade old accounts. I take my hat off to you!
A few of you were VERY close, I have left your invites pending and will keep checking on your progress until I can send you the invites you deserve. Keep it up!
Many, many of you are simply time wasters, either game counts no where near the required amount or private profiles making it near impossible for me to check your eligibility. You slow down the process of getting invites out to legitimate collectors.

Steam Group Invite Changes

Valve have today announced that invites to Steam groups can now only be sent to friends, which means no more random invites to crappy CS:GO "communities" that will more tihan likely send you spammy announcements and events on a daily basis.

What this means for VIP Collectors and other communities alike, is that to join - collectors will have to request membership on the homepage of the group (unless they have a friend in the group who can send them an invite).

To help smooth this transition for users still requesting membership the old way, I've recruited a bunch of known and respected collectors in the Steam community, so if you have them as a friend, you can politely ask them for an invite the old-fashioned way.

What do you guys think to the changes? Personally I think Valve should have introduced something like this 3 years ago, but I'm happy they're at least finally here.
