If you're seeing texture explosions near cities (particularly military areas), the following workaround can prevent the issue:

1. Open your profile document with a text editor - Mydocuments/ArmA2/"yourname".ArmA2OAProfile
2. Search for the "sceneComplexity=" variable
3. Change the value after the "=" to "100000" (ex. sceneComplexity=100000)
