Made new summary for story.

The last summary for the story of the mod was badly written and a bit outdated, so I fixed it and it sorta makes more sense now.

We need one more mapper!

For The Unknown to be able to reach its new deadline, we need at least one more mapper to kick up the pace of the development and to be able to finish by the expected date in late spring of 2014. If someone could help find a somewhat experienced mapper that can do complex geometry in maps as well as to be able to optimize them well.

The big part of the progress starts here.

Just to be clear to every one here, I will not rush anyone on the progress of the mod. Rushing myself is the reason the mod got delayed so many times in the first place (that seems to answer your question, Aprilfools DK). I want to say that I have an idea for the production of the mod so that we will work faster. This post is mostly based on mapping.
We now have a total of four mappers, if Mr. Mexican proves he can contribute something worthy. If he does, that will be great. So, my plan is for myself to start working on the maps during the start of the mod (Chapters 1 and 2) while we will have other mappers working on different sections of the mod at the same time. If each mapper works on enough maps worth two chapters for the mod, then we will have a total of eight chapters finished in no- time. For the ninth chapter, we will all work together to finish up the final sequences of the mod, just to make sure the ending is the best we can give it.
When we are finished with all the maps, we will connect them all together with map transition entities and then do a few play tests to make sure there aren't anymore gameplay changes or bugfixes we need to do.
During this time through mapping, I want the rest of you guys who aren't mappers do what you joined for. If one of you guys is finished with a small pack of some sort (set of textures, folder of sounds, all human models, etc.), message me and I will put it into the mod.
So, all I have to say is, good luck to you all! I hope we can start this plan soon!
