We have the new server at pingperfect up and running, so if you have the old server listed as a favorite, you will need to remove it and add the new one. Please let myself or Evil know if you experence any issues ... thx and happy building.

In the very near future, Undiscovered Country will be moving to a new server provider. I need to find out if Host-A-Space is being to nit-picky on us or not, anyway I'm tired of the constant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from them. In light of this move, we need put any changes on the back burner, like a map redo for oxygen so that we are comparing apples to apples.

Also the big draw back to a map redo is it involves a wipe of the map and we all start over, so oxygen may not be in our future as the cost is very high to get it.

This move may involve a time where the server will be unavailable, hopefully it will be a brief amount of time to rollover. I'm waiting on the Thursday update to impliment so I can benchmark Host-A Space and compare to the new provider.

Host-A-Space (our server service) has been sold to another company. At some point Sunday night we lost access to our game server and have yet to gain access to it. So if server goes down, or is down, we have no means to go in and restart it.

Hello fellow Undiscovered Countrymen,
After some work post Thursday patch we are back up and testing how much CPU we are pulling. You are welcome to come on in and do your thing, but please keep in mine that a rollback or other nasty action may be required.

On a bitter note, we may need to find a new server, if we can't get the usage into compliance with Host-A-Space.

Got an email this morning and Host-A-Space has taken their servers down to do maint. on them, I hoping it's to correct the time-out issues we have been experencing. They have stated that the server should be back up by 1PM MST today, unless they run into unexpected issues.
