how to uncut l4d2 i buy in australia but it censored !!

i got l4d2 (australian low gore one) and i thought " what if an american copied his l4d2 files to megaupload or something so that others could overwrite theyre files?" i have asked you because i saw the l4d2 comparison video you posted. is this possible? a reply would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also like to point out that I have seen with my own eyes underage kids on these dodgy gaming sites like GARENA, they're all playing the unrated version and guess what? I didn't see one person there over 18. - All this has done is cause tonnes of kids to download the game illegally, breaking copyright laws in the process. While the rest of us "Idiots" (Over 18's) are trying to be legitimate and prove that we are Responsible as gamers, One thing i'd like to say, stop with the swearing and carrying on guys, you're only making us LOOk like violent psychos when you talk like children.

Apparently you can buy the UK version of the game by setting your "country" field in payment to UK... might be worth a shot guys.

hey guys, if anyone is in favour for a R18+ rating for all video games in australia, join my new group, R18_4AUS. Lets make fantasy become reality.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2. Open steam_appid. Change the number to 510. Save. Then go into the folder left4dead2 in the folder that you are currently in. Open the file named "steam" Change the appID to 510. Save. Go back and open the game via the left4dead2.exe. Enjoy the gore! Oh, and so you don't have to keep going into your folder to play the gore game, create a desktop shortcut to make it easier.

P.S. The only problem is that if you want gore online, the person you want to play with has to have done this as well. Now, go, and have fun!

I found a way to get gore in the Aussie version!

So in Madworld be can chainsaw someone through the gut..... In GTA IV we can run people over in golf buggies and in COD we can blow eachothers limbs off with land mines BUT in L4D2 we can't see a mere bloodsplatter and necks are apparently made of concrete to stop decappitation. BS
