so i just joined a tf2 arena respawn team for an event. They use this thing called battlefy.com and i figure its somthing u mods should look at. Make these tourneys a lil more organized and stuff

Are we using more than just the one server? I'd like to play on a server where i get a ping of 50 or 60 at least. It's extremely hard to fight when you have 90+ ping against good players.

This is the day. This week I've been in the hospital with my mother, I won't be attending the tournament. Hel will be managing it. Prepare, it will be this evening after 4:00 PM most likely.

It cant be first to any even number. Best of 3/5/7 works the best imo, to prevent ties.

3 rounds is quite quick. Maybe first to 10 victories, or 5? Also it doesn't say that samurai projectiles or pirate projectiles are banned is that on purpose? I also don't want to be set on fire by pirates.

I have been on a trip with my family, I am sorry.. I have already gone over this with some of you. Your concerns WILL be taken care of. There rules were just a vanilla set, and they will be completely redone. Please state all your ideas in the comments I will get to them.

The scrims were a bit unorganized and this seems.. even more unorganized. We all need to pool our ideas together and decide upon it together.

Rules are lame right now and flawed. People like to play a certain class. Six rounds, one of each class means the score could always come to a 3-3. Who wins then?

Also, I have suggested that this be added to the rules, but that jerk frisky won't add it. I think we should put it to a vote.

Please message a player to duel them. The rules on 1v1 duels are: six rounds, one of each class, at a nuetral ping server, no interferences OR tricking another player into singing you happy birthday when it's NOT your birthday. You may only be challenged twice a week for your place on the leaderboard. Message CC A Very Frisky Psycho if you have a new place on the leaderboard.

I'd take it one step further and suggest all ranged abilities be banned. The core of the game is melee combat.

Lol for once, I agree with Mom. A person should be within 5 ranks of the person that they are challenging. For the top 5 however, you have to ascend one by one. Personally, I think ninja claws should be banned along with pirate guns/fire.

Yeah, I agree with Mom here. You should need to ascend the ranks before you can challenge the higher-ups

Question, if you are number 10 on the leaderboard, and beaten by a challenger not on the leaderboard, why would you be removed from the leaderboard? Shouldn't you be pushed to #11, and #35 be pushed off of the leaderboard? Seems like it would make a lot more sense that way. Also, I think UFC rules would be more fitting here. Perhaps you could only challenge someone within 5 ranks of you (30-35 if you're not on the board), so you'd need to fight your way up to challenge the leaders. Otherwise, the leaders could just stick to easy fights and retain their rank.

Yeah you can't challenge the tenth position you should have a win record on each person and make it skill based and win based. SO one match win of best 5 makes you 1-0 and puts you in position. Etc...
