Hi, I have a question. If I want to send here my WIP stuff to get some feedback in the process, should I make a thread for that? (It's kinda big project) Or should I discuss it here?

Also, If own thread is a case, than wouldn't it be useful to make some categories for finished props, WIP props and ideas, etc..? Is it here on steam possible? Just an idea.

PS: Sorry if there is something like that and I'm just blind :D

Announcement: So, i just got hit by a train of "realization" and i realized how my some of my weapons are becoming kind of modern and not quite fit the apocalyptic style. Now you can say that "oh just texture some apocalypse design and it'll fit in more", but man do i suck at texturing, so i found another way of making my guns more style fitting.

Read here: ANYWAY, the main point here is: I don't want to bother with my super Kriss V anymore, and i know that some people would love to see it in game, so i'm going to give it away to you guys because you guys have skills. you can change it up, and texture it, uploaded to WS (when it's out) or use it for personal use, or w/e you want, it's your's now have fun with it.

Warning: The gun is pink because it has a failed texture, just swap the view to back to solid and unwrap the gun.

Disabling the mipmap and changing the texture interpolation in the image texture node to "closest" fixed it for me. I'll certainly look forward to create assets for the custom map planned by you :D

Hey and welcome! :)

The brute way to fix it would simply be to scale up the texture in any image editor, while not having the scaling blur it.

Disabling Mipmap should fix it in a more proper way. Go to inside Blender --> File --> User settings --> System --> OpenGL --> Mipmap to disable that.

The chosen render type (cycles vs blender) may also affect the result. Hope ya get it workin'!

Hey guys, first of all thanks for the invite. I'm struggeling with the textures in blender a little whenever i apply a low resolution texture to my model it looks always washed-out in the render? Is there any way of fixing this?

Nvm guys i found the problem. Just Highlight the Black parts and press Ctrl + N or Ctrl + shift + N if it doesn't work

Yo, i'm having major problems unwrapping my models and texturing it. can anyone link me to a vid of how to unwrap with AO and Vertex color?. My attempt was trying to bake the gun first with just the AO, then bake out the vertex color, and hptoshop the 2 together to try to get ao + vertex color, but the AO Baking always have issues :cgpout:

Alright, so if I've set this up right, any member should be able to invite others now. So if any of you know any other redditors or friends who're capable of making good looking, Unturned-stylized 3D models, feel free to have 'em join in! Oh, also rendered a simple group avatar :)
