Hey all, the server has been wiped and a new map has been generated.

The map size has been pushed back to 3k to encourage more player interaction and pvp so people don't get bored.

Hey guys, just so everybody knows today is the bi-weekly wipe and server update.

Once the update hits, I'll wipe and a new map will be available for everybody to play on.

Server is updated everybody, and is good to go.

Oxide is temporarily disabled as there is an issue with its latest patch, it should be re-enabled quite soon, so don't worry.

It's wipe days guys!

The updated is expected to hit around 8-10 GMT (London, Dublin) although this can vary and could be later.

To make things smoother, with the transition over to the new server, you will have to do as follows:

You can connect to the server after the forced wipe using f1 to bring up the console and type client.connect 109.230.215.210:28035
This will allow you to manually connect
Or you can simply search for Trinity again, under modded.
The name will be the same, the current server will just be removed from your favorites and server history.
Currently the server is whitelisted as to prevent confusion and allow myself to stress test it, so you will not be able to join.

Small changes occurring this wipe:
Quicksmelt has now been updated and is much faster, as is cooking food. Though you will still be unable to cook food in a furnace or refine crude oil. This is a necessary change as it renders items such as the refinery useless, I will look into increasing the crude oil yield from barrels to balance this, however.
The auto broadcast message will appear every five minutes to remind you to check the rules on the website so you don't moan at me when you "weren't informed" of breaking the rules if you're muted, kicked or banned.
I have been seeing groups larger than five flying under the radar, by simply not logging on at the same time.
Be absolutely aware that I will be checking a lot more frequently this wipe as the population has already suffered and large groups raiding and roaming will certainly lower any stable population I hope to get.
Your group will be warned once, and once only, you should not be coming on a 50 slot server with seven people, which accounts for 14% of the overall population.
Go to Rustafied or another high population, Rust isn't meant to be easy mode.
Seeing as the group is up and running again, votes will be made three days before the wipe regarding the map for the next wipe. Three maps will be included and a Strawpoll will be linked.

Switching hosting company.

Hey everybody,

As some of you know, I have been planning on taking measures to ensure the mess with the server which occurred two weeks ago wouldn't happen again.

To ensure this, I'm switching over to a new host recommended to me by numerous people.

This switch will occur on wipe day, as to not affect the current users.
The server, its mods, and all features currently implemented will remain the same as with previous wipes.

The only change you will see is a change of IP address.

This means that:

You will have to search for the server in the modded section again, or you can connect manually using the console once I have received the IP, which I will post on wipe day before the wipe happens in preparation in an announcement.
The server will no longer appear in your favorites if you have had it previously saved in that category.

Code lock exploit fixed.

Hey guys,

Earlier on a code lock exploit was discovered that allowed anybody to open a code locked door even if they didn't know the code.

The devs have pushed out a patch and I have updated the server to correct this issue.

The server has had a low enough population since the Thursday update, so I anticipate few, if any were affected.
