I cant get my mods to work with TL downloaded from Steam... i tried sticking them in the runic./Torchlight/mods folder... still no changes when playing

just in case someone doesn't have the respec potion mod, I'd like to recommend getting it. It's infinitely useful and super easy to use. I don't have the link anymore, but googling(or yahooing or binging as the case may be) it should get you to it quickly enough

The Torchlight editor is insanely slow and complicated, but I do like that I can demo/preview the changes within the editor. That feature makes it similar to RPG Maker.

Yeah same here, really cant wait for the MMO but that is a few years off and as we know from past MMO's not all come to reality we can only hold our breaths and see. Hopefully Torchlight brings them in enough capital to complete the MMO.

I found out about Torchlight from Ogre3D's site, but I got the game because I played Fate and Diablo and saw Mythos in development a year before. Mythos would have been awesome, but Torchlight is going to be a MMORPG, so I'm excited for that.
