I would say watch the sales. Most good games go on sale for real cheap eventually. Team Fortress Classic is a good one to get at regular price. It looks like strategy might be your thing. Check out Age of Wonder. Thats a good strategy game and it goes real cheap.

I just got the Counter Strike Anthology Collection on it's last day of sales. Hope to see some Counter Strike and Day of Defeat Frag Nights soon.
