I actually refunded my preorder for NMS awhile back and bought Elite. Im thankful I did that unfortunately.

Well todays the day The Intergalactic Council gets to explore the vastness of space. Well not for me I have to play it tommorow because my internet is not that great so I have to wait a while for it to download.

Everything about this release has been a big put out for pcers

I was put out this morning. I didn't know we couldn't download till 12 and I got up early to download it so it would be ready when I got home. So disappointed.

well if I inadvertently help create the matrix, I have to say I'd be pretty happy to live the rest of my life exploring planets while my body was used as a battery.

Just had a thought....was watching some vids to wet the whistle and I noticed they mentioned the drone probes that HG was supposed to have built to explore this massive space for bugs and glitches....What if WE are the drone probes they mention? What if they are not making a game but attempting an AI type of rudimentary creationism and in order to fully see what they created, they need US (the probes) to get in there and upload all our discoveries? Deep thought of the night there folks.

That would be good. Though don't forget most things will probably be quiet until we get a little closer to the release.

I've had a breif leap of absence but I'll go recruitting if I can figure this out.

I know I just got here; but I have to agree with what everyone else has already said.

It's early yet; plenty of time now and later for people to find Interest or not.

With alot of the "hate" right now; especually on the steam forums, I feel like It'll probably go sideways fairly quickly made completely public.

I agree with Relain, if we do make this public, obnoxious trolls or people that don't even truly play the game might join. I mean you can always kick them out but I think it would be better to limit our selves a little bit. I might be able to get more people but I don't know any of my friends that would be real interested with NMS.

I wouldnt't make it public, people who are truly into the game.. they will find you. Im sure i can get a few more poeple to join.

Just wondering on how we will go about recruiting, Should I make the group npublic or do you know some people that may wish to join?
