I am thinking about coming back to Ark for the new Tek update. Is anyone playing Ark currently on a decent server? Or anyone want to group up and find another server for the update?

I am trying the US based server Night Shift, ping is over 100, but easily playable seems to have most of the mods on a The Center map. Seems to have good uptime stats too. There's a group.

Worthy - thank you for all the hard work you did running the servers for us and for trying the dedicated server to try and resolve all the issues we had with the old one.

Yup they unfortunately did. I planned to download all the content from the servers and offer it to anyone for single player if they wanted it.

Sadly I am not going to renew the server this month because since we switched to the fully dedicated server which costs me £85 a month. I haven't received any donations towards its costs.

Maybe in the future if people want to chip in and support the sever and community both financially and by playing on the servers regularly. Then maybe we can re launch them. But for now there won't be any servers running.

Please remain in the group as we have w good number of members and it would be a shame to break up the community.

I can understand, we had mostly 1-5 ppl online at most...i was expecting this, but its really sad all those hours we placed and lost...at least i could make my dino 100% but still its sad that another server goes. i hope to see u again in another server..who knows..or hope TheWorthy brings back the server one day :)

As i said it's a pitty as the server was excellent and a great choice of mods, but can't blame the guy' not getting help with the upkeep and the way ark runs things with all the updates is ridiculous the amount of time it takes up for someone..

This is Xandaral btw me and Grimm are the ones that was always online...

He had three servers running and not enough people on them and was costing too much and was not getting much help as i know he also works long hours..

I talked to TheWorthy this afternoon and he said he cancellled but they should have ran till the 24th but it looks like the provider stopped them straight away..

You might want to look for a new serveras i think the admin has cancelled the servers..Shame they where good servers but lost too much of the community with them being offline alot..

The old fresh wipe server has been wiped for a new server running the tabula rasa mod. This gives you access to the scorched earth dinos and items without having to buy the DLC!

Its all good now, just gotta take the dino's out of the ORP zone. Why is the server down?

Let me know if the problem persists after you have done the below

Pick up and replace your ORP. If that doesn't work then destroy the ORP and make a new one. They recently updated ORP to ORP 2 and they are still having some problems

Hoentje this is a common problem with ORP. It usually takes just a moment to deactivate and thus letting you mount tamed dinos again. However, I don't know if the ORP has been fixed or not, it seems to stay active even if you're online. You can lure your tames out of the ORPs area of effect by having them on follow, then you should be able to mount them as usual.

Doesn't sound correct to me. I am fairly sure it's 48-72hrs for metal

i was on the server day before yesterday so what you are saying is that after 24 hours the buildings can be demolished

The mod mismatch is due to some mods updating more frequently at the moment. I have got two auto restarts and updates on the Dino x server which is obviously not enough. If you get this problem though just message me on here and I will update the server as soon as I get the message. I work. So I can't keep my eye on the mods updating every day and basically rely on you guys to let me know.

As for the base thing, obviously it's a pain but I can't roll back the server because you haven't logged in and played on it in order to keep the demolish off. Sorry guys

I have had same problem in the pasr fewdays had to wait for the server to be restarted before i could get in game

why is it the last few days iv'e been having problems with mod - mismatch and not being able to get ingame.I have the game set to only d-load when i run this game as there is no setting for only update when i allow.I run it through battleeye.exe or shooter.exe and still get friggin mod-mismatch today.Not surprised there are only a few people playing on the dino x server because if their game is upto date they won't see the server and even if they do see the server if they try to join and steam d-loads an updated version of the mod you still can't get bloody in..

Ok so when ORP updated to ORP 2 they are having some issues. Main ones seem to be ORP not turning off, ORP invisible and ORP not accessible and the HP is bugged. A fix is coming soon.

Ok ORP was updated to ORP 2. I spoke to the dev and he said he's not had any issues yet. Well I can fix it this evening when I am back from work.

something seems to be wrong with the recent ORP update. two of our ORPs seem to have stopped recognizing our presence, meaning they stay active even after several hours of being online. Also I can't pick them up or destroy them. So we cannot mount any tames nomore, except if we move them outside our ORP on follow.

It is on the more difficult server where it really matters if you lose your stuff

Just updated it before I went to work and added death helper! I haven't yet set up auto restarts and updates on the new server yet so I'll do that after work.
