Hello Rustic Gamers,

For those of you who have not yet played the new TF2 King of The Hill boss map, I have a little bit of a story to tell you on the only way I found to really BEAT the boss. This is because not only is he difficult as all ♥♥♥♥ he has a lot of health. So let's get started on an easy way to beat the boss and get the achievement.

How I did it:
So it started with me in a random server that was running the map and holy hell it was chaos. Not only was the ping terrible but it was a gian blood bath of people. Now when I got in I wanted to get to know the map so I explored... which lead to me falling into the hole straight to hell. Trust me when I say you wont like it... Though I have an easy way around the amount of time it takes to actually die at the bottom just bind a kill key for suicide so it will be a lot quicker. (My prefference is "bind O explode" its is kinda out of the way with the normal bindings.) As the match went on the random thingy really made it frustrating with all the stuff it did, and then came Marasmus.

He came in center and darted to the enemy side, and the first thing I noticed was that the teams were still attacking each other and that was taking the focus away from the real problem Marasmus. So after 2-3 more times that we failed to kill him I made a suggestion to work together BOTH teams since this boss would not go down. It took a little pursuading but the teams finally worked together all 24 of us aiming for one goal; Kill Marasmus. It took a few steps to make all of this work.

1 - Heavies on both teams paired with Medics
2 - All engineers turrets needed to be wrangled
3 - A few Huntsman snipers (It aparently works well)
4 - An assortment of demos and Soldiers
5 - NO scouts, spies, or pyros they did not do enough damage
6 - Realizing when you get a bomb on your head to rush Murasmus to get Über + Speed which did some serious damage to the boss
7 - Keeping your teams in check to make sure that blood does not spill during boss fight.

After all of this it still took us 2 more times to kill him and it was so damn difficult. I was soldier and got an Über near the end which delt some serious damage and we JUST barely killed him before he was about to escape. (Sadly I died right after Murasmus because I was right in his face so I did not get to go to treasure island.)

Also apparently our server was part of the first set to do the achievement so I felt happy about that.

You may or may not have read my last announcement thing, but Office Riot is a forum where people with the common interest of multiplayer gaming get together and organize game sessions. You could say it's like you and some buddies getting together to play Left 4 Dead, but put it on a larger scale.

If you're interested in joining any of these events, simply go to http://officeriotforums.com and register. You don't get spammed with emails other than the confirm of registration. Once you've registed, go to the PC subforum, go to the appropriate event topic, and post "I'm in" with your forum name and GFWL identificaiton. (EDIT: Except for the L4D2 event. That one, put forum name and steam ID)

Nutshell version:
Office Riot is a forum where people get together and make events for multiplayer games (most notably GTA IV). I often host on that forum and will be doing a Blacklight Retribution event. So far there are 24 signups (8 people above the game lobby limit!), but there's a problem: half of the people haven't even added me as a friend ingame yet! Due to this, there are still about five guaranteed spots available. Interested? Instructions below.

1. register on forum
2. post on my event topic (above)
3. sign up using this little template: "forum name - steam ID - ingame ID"
4. accept my steam and ingame friend request
5. enjoy the event on Sunday!

For the first and only time EVER I have decided to be an EXTERMLY nice guy by offering a challange to anybody who wants to give it a try who owns Dc Universe Online.

So i was thinking about making a team for Mad God so that our group could possibly make a sort of team where we'd play together on a specific day once a week or something just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles. Leave a comment on the group page with what you think.
