Buzz, I am trying to grab the server from Ranger and Bacci. Our group planned on getting an Ark server but since we dont want to see our progess on this server go to waste, we brought up to take over the server. That way we all can keep our current progress in the game.

i dont see a problem with that have whoever wants it talk to me on steam there still 20 days left on it.

Our group EG would probably be more than happy to take the server off your hands, keeping the IP, world & everything in it. There's like 3 weeks left and it probably won't be renewed. So I would slowly look for another server. Sorry to break the bad news but no server lasts forever and ark gets boring fast

It is yes. Bacci doesn't want to renew it I've been advertising but people are bored or mad about unintended wipes. So I wouldn't play on it seeiously

So... I'm assuming this server is pretty much essentially dead? 10 or less people on at all times or am i just logging on at the down times? If not, any plans to try to help the server get pop back? Sad to see such a great server at such low pop.

Having trouble with joining the server. Was all fine yesterday and today it just says "Failed to Install Mod Map". Able to join other servers with the map "Center" though.

Yes almost every modded server was corrupted by the last patch. It wasn't a choice ark broke the server.

For those staying. Any map votes? Most have asked for The Center since ark is making it an official map soon. It's also 100% complete i believe. Valhalla is an option but very big etc and rarely run into people. Or the good ol default.

Due to needing to reformat and load the new map and testing ETC. I'm putting off the PVP server till 5 PM PST today. That will be the launch I may change that to 6 pm PST if i need more time. The server will launch with the same everything except only one mod ORP. Don't ask about anything else please.

If you guys want to quit I fully understand 100% But we are also paid up until the end of the month. So I'm going to wipe it for now incase people want to play etc. I mean I can't comp 50 people all their ♥♥♥♥. The most I can do is turn the gather rates up to a retarded amount for 2 days or something to like 60x to let people catch up on where they were and taming to x 100 or something retarded for 24 -48 hours. Thats about it

I just spoke to them and they are telling me now that when the patch posted it broke the mods which corrupted our save. There is NO OPTION but to wipe. So i'm wiping it now. Im sorry guys this wasn't my decision or my call but I have said from the beggining I hate mods for this very reason. Its always a gamble that if something goes wrong you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Im going to wipe it and if people quit I fully understand. But there is nothing else I can do they tell me waiting wont fix anything.

Definitly wait ._. Even if it's like 3 days, if u want to keep people on the server, u probably should w8 like 3 days and keep everyone up to date instead of a wipe again ^^

yeah, been enjoying sleep the last few days myself, i'd been running on like 3 hours a day scince the wipe and burned myself out to the point where i could literally not stay awake longer, even with strong coffee lol.

I can wait, I have neglected many things of late due to arkalholic and this gives me time out to catch up on much needed stuff, not to mention my sleep.

huh well ♥♥♥♥, sucks when things like this are totally out of your control, thankfully its not just this server, so there "should" be a patch fairly soon, hopefully.

So the pvp server is somehow ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It could be up to a couple days before the nods get updated to fix it cause somehow this patch broke it badly. At this point unless ark acknowledges and patches it I only see 2 choices wait for a mod update/patch, or wipe it.

I already know if we wipe it everyone is gonna rage quit including me. If we wait it could be 2-3 days till its fixed it all depends on ark. The problem is that the mods are integrated into the save world files so I can't just turn the mods off and load the save because they're part of the save and the save doesn't work without the mods.

I'll give it another day and see but it's probably going to come down to saying ♥♥♥♥ this game or doing a wipe and not using mods any longer as they're too problematic with ark patching. I'll keep you updated.

The PVE server is up but i cant for the life of me get the PVP server up.... I'm not giving up but dont count on playing till late tonight sadly. Im sorry but its not on my end its ark. They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up bad this patch.

The server is back up but mods have been temp disabled until they patch a fix. So there is NO MODS currently on the server. This doesnt mean your modded stuff is delete or gone unly disabled and unavailable. Once I turn the mod back on everything should be saved and there. I will let you know when that is possible and it back on later tonight.

A patch is incoming most likely to fix server so stay tuned.... its ETA its 5 mins or so

So after contacting my host and also reading the ark reddit. It appears this patch broke the majority of private servers. So it's not just my servers guys its many people not all but many. Unfortunetly there is nothing I can do until Ark fixes it on their end. Hopefully they will do it asap but it could take hours if not days. I apologize in advance and will update here when its working again =/

Just so everyone knows I'm sorry I haven't been on much lately. I'm not bored with the game or losing interest. It's just this surgery has kicked my ass physically and mentally and it'd hard for me to focus and play long periods right now. I'll be back to my old self soon I promise.

Technically it's not breaking any rules. That's what turrets are for to keep people out. I will however ask them to stop.

The website currently has a hiccup when being used as a link on steam (it blocks it and thinks its spam). So once that issue is fixed it will go live FYI.
