I've had a few people contact me recently about Terminal Velocity asking if the server is still running.

Unfortunately it's not, but I'm curious, would anyone WANT the Terminal Velocity server back up and running?

Obviously TF2 trading is down so we would need to be supported by donors and people willing to play regularly.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately due to community inactivity, TV will not be associated with any servers.

A new community is being supported and built from active players and staff from many well known and fun communities for the enjoyment of everyone.

Hello everyone, Fruitcake here.

As you all know, Terminal Velocity has been without a server for almost 3 months now, and the majority of the community has either left or moved over to Supreme Servers.
This leaves Terminal Velocity in a very precarious situation, as no funds are coming into the server so that I can buy a server, and my University fees and such are taking up the majority of my income.

Thus I have decided that it is time to determine the fate of Terminal Velocity, however I have decided that I want the decision to be made by you - the Terminal Velocity Community - and not myself or the staff.

The decision will be made by a poll in the comments.
I would like all of you to write a comment in the comment section below this announcement with one of the following choices;

1. I Vote to Bring Terminal Velocity Back!
- Please include a reason you would like to bring Terminal Velocity back as well as improvements you would like to see in the server if it is brought back. These comments will be used to mould the new server, should the community vote to bring Terminal Velocity back.

2. I Vote for the Closure of Terminal Velocity!
- Please include a reason you think Terminal Velocity should be closed down.

The poll will be open for TWO WEEKS at which point I will tally the votes and the decision will be made.

Only one comment per person will be accepted and spam posts will be removed.

Please consider your decision carefully, as your vote may be the difference between the closure or return of Terminal Velocity. In the event that the community wants the server to be brought back, I will find a way to pay for the server and bring it back up in the following month/s.

~ Fruit and the Terminal Velocity Staff

Hey guys Snowie here. Just wanted to fill you all in on what is going on and what I may do to fix it. So I have not directly read about this Tournament so I need to look more into it, but from what I can see, the servers that were up have been taken down due to not enough donations. The reason donations are not comming in are most likely because school is back. This has caused TV to go down deeper into the pit than what it was previously. HOWEVER, I have a solution I think Fruitcake will agree with.
Flynn's server

So as alot of you may know, we had Flynn create his own server. Now normally this would not be a problem, he even goes on to say he has nothing against TV and doesn't want any conflict between the 2 existing servers. I for one see a different outlook. Though Flynn may not mean harm, what he has done is split the community in half. People who have left with him onto his new server claim that TV is dead or in the proccess of becomming dead. What they do not understand is that they are the reason it is so. Because they are leaving that the server is dead. But like all people, they have a choice, and I can't blame them for leaving.

So a-lot of you may know I have a job now. I stopped TV because of multiple reasons. This being one of them. My girlfriend moved in, I got a job, I lost interest in TF2, and I got into CS:GO. I recently got an increase in hours and am working a-lot more now but I may still have time for the server over weekends. The thing I wish to do is fully pay for a single 32 slot server for TV members to play on. I will talk with Fruitcake further on the subject.
