like i said the group is being revivated. Our last RP date was 1920's and we started in like 1870 I think. Didnt go so well so now we are starting over earlier. Most of the description will be changed. Thanks for the input. :)

Um, according to the group's homepage: We fight for his Majesty the King of Britain and for our great Empire. They say the sun never sets upon the British empire and we shall keep it that way. That is historically incorrect for this time era. The first queen to say that was Queen Victoria, and she was born in 1819, over 100 years after the time this RP is set in. Therefore, this RP set date is in the wrong era, as Queen Victoria was the first to say it over 100 years later. The saying was first used to describe the Spanish Empire in the 16th century, and originates with a remark of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor (Charles I of Spain), who declared "in my realm the sun never sets." It was later changed to "The sun never sets on my empire." However, it wasnt used to describe Britain until somewhere around 1837-1901, when Queen Victoria reigned. Thanks!
