The Mujhidain didnt like the Soviets in their country so they begain to fight back. The Mujhidain had been supplied by the United States to fight off the Soviets [secretly.] In 1989 The Russian Premiar Mikhail Gorbachev believed the occupation of Afghanistan was a milatary disaster and pulled the Soviets out. The Mujhidain had won their indipendance from the Soviets.
