Well, this was unexpected. I didn't think Steam was going to shoot themselves in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ foot by basically removing the gift inventory system. Since that's how I purchase games more often than not this presents a problem for me. Especially with the new 10% rule for cross region gifting. So I'm unsure how to move this group forward for now.
