so what are people doing now that scanners arent working? theres gotta be a new way to shark even if that be checking people one by one in the game..

So since last year when i try to use the scanner, it just show how long it took for the scanner to scan the "status" But nothing appears,no player profiles,no info, Nothing.

Is it me or is it just that it got screwed ??

Hello guys I am trying to recreate the scanner from scratch. I have completely coded a new home page with html and CSS and have a few interactive features with Jquery thrown in. I am still working the files for the scanner It's just the API requires me to have decent AJAX and PHP and something to output scans with Either Json or valves output. If there are any questions or advice please feel free to add. Have a good one.

Well, I'm hesitating, I have asked versaweb, my host, for renting the server for one more month but support's a bit slow.
I'm definitely pulling the plug for good next month though, as after the october 8th update, sharking became unprofitable for my site.

Guys let's all make a petition to get valve to undo the private backpacks! there's a discussion already started check it out.

no I mean i found out about this a week after the patch. I didnt just find out about it. im not a big dumb stupid idiot.

If you want to get anything to work you ahve to use the new version and it's still rare to find something good then.

Trading within the TF2, Dota2, and CS:GO has crumbled because of the recent patch of default privacy backpack setting. The previous settings allowed users to trade more safely and efficiently through sites such as TF.Backpack which gave prices but used backpack information. Please revive the trading system and revert back to the previous settings.
