Meetup notifications for Asia-Pacific and Americas are now gone even from Google Calendar / Discord. There were no interest in those for far too long.

And we are actually not really feel the need to keep the usual weekly interval between European meetups either. We just don't know which change to the current schedule can be better...

If you're interested to play original SV from time to time and have any idea how to organize it in a way that will work for you - feel free to share with us - we are all ears.

And somewhat related note:

Plenty of people have the original SV game, and we can still observe multiple people every week, who run the game and connect the servers just to leave immediately. Even if I manage to connect in time before they leave - they don't play and don't talk back.

I see the same behavior year after year. This is really baffling. If you happen to do the same thing in the past or have an idea about what's on their mind - I'm eager to know. I doubt we can bring those people to the community but I still want to understand it better.

(How do I know when people connect SV servers? That's easy - we have our Discord bot monitoring the servers. If you want to know when people are playing SV or SVEX - you can make use of it too.)

Little update to meetups schedule, notifications

We have updated our meetup schedule a little. Looks like our previous times for US/Americas were not very comfortable for players. After a little discussion in Discord, we decided to move Friday and Saturday US meetups two hours later - to 9PM Central Time | 10PM EST | 7PM PST.

On the other hand, for some reason, I'm leaning towards stopping to put notifications about unpopular meetups into Steam.
- Discord[discord.gg] will have all notifications - it is easy to choose what notifications you are interested in there.
- Steam will have notifications only about populated meetups - this means only European meetups for now.

People who want to play with us are highly encouraged to join the Discord (if not joined yet). This group, in turn, might need to receive more quality updates - I'm considering to post some stuff from our twitter here too - stream and video announcements, in case they are worthy to share.
